Hello, I'm not certain the best way to contact the City of Bloomington about this question, but I cannot seem to locate this information on your website. My husband and I are (attempting to become) first time homebuyers. We have been pre-qualified for an FHA loan, and in that process found mention of local programs offering to cover the 3.5% downpayment. Hello, I am actually a resident of Vigo County but I lived in Bloomington years ago while Mayor Kruzan was a State Rep. I wrote to him after the Matthew Shepard murder urging him to support hate crime legislation and he responding with a handwritten letter promising to fight hate crimes. I still have the letter framed and that response made Mark Kruzan my favorite politician. I was overjoyed to hear he became mayor of Bloomington after I moved away. He is a great man. Hearing that he performed several same sex marriages last February further proved that this is a man who firmly believes in equality for all. I am writing because my partner and I are visiting New York City next year to be legally married and we would love to have a letter from him that we could frame and display at our wedding.

Street signs on Bradshire Court, Bradshire Steet and Uppington look disgraceful. Can you please straighten these signs as they make the neighborhood look very unappealing. The Street sign on Uppington Court looks like someone ran into it with a piece of heavy equipment. Please help our neighborhood.

I would like to remain anonymous, but I know of a house that has four residents with only allowing three to live there and be on the lease. I am reporting this because they tried to offer a sublet without being able to get on the lease and I think this is illegal. The house is at 2629 E Edwards row. I think this is an issue and should be dealt with.

Is the street sign at the corner of W.17th and formerly Rogers/Kinser Pike correct? It is now labeled as Madison St.. I've lived on W. 17th since 1977. The street going South off of W. 17th at this intersection has always been Rogers St. The street going North at this intersection with W. 17th was always Kinser Pike. Was there a change so that this street(s) has now 3 different names in <1 block?

Good Evening, My name is Kelly and I work with kids in an after school program in Vermont. Recently I've been working with the kids on safety, I decided doing a fun project on ways they can be safe before and after school. They also found a safety guide (http://yourlocalsecurity.com/inside-home-safety-guide) that covers everything for keeping children safe at home and other protection resources; would you mind adding it to your page if it's not too much trouble? TO whomever patrols SR#37 just north of Bloomington (heading north). THANK YOU for stopping to check when my car was on the side of the road with my hazzard lights on. I SO appreciate the stop. I had called AAA and they were on their way, but I was SO glad that an officer (two different ones) stopped to see if I needed assistance. My flat tire was immaginary (AAA guy was not amuzed but accomodating). The road is bumpy and my indicator light said I had a flat tire, so I did what I thought I should do. So much for BMW indicator lights - they are a bit too sensitive - but I want to THANK those of you who check on stranded motorists. It is so very much appreciated and comforting.

I noticed that my address is not included on the myBloomington City Services tool as the addresses go from 631 to 635 Bayberry Ct W and skips my address of 633 Bayberry Ct W. Is this why I have not received a Trash and Recycling Pickup Schedule magnet for many years? Please add my address. Thanks.
