Hello, I have no report, but rather a question regarding the big black metal fencing that surrounds the 3rd st. and Morton overpass along the Convention Center. Can someone tell me what company this fencing came from, and, did a local business install it? It is really nice, and I would like to use these same businesses, if I could. Thanks!

I made a report asking whether the trees on east smith street near our building location are property of the city. The case #198643 . I didn't leave any contact information, so I was reaching out to include it.

We (staff) are unsure if the trees on E Smith St (near the property location 401 S Washington St) are the city property or if they belong to us. Would you be able to tell me who they belong to? If they are the property of the city, could I schedule to get them trimmed? I was notified that there has to be 3ft clearance between the tree limbs and the property.

Suggestion for BACC. The Bloomington Shelter has been adopting pets out to homeless individuals. In many occasions dogs have been found tied up outside stores while the owner is inside. Would like to suggest that the shelter provide these individuals wirh collars that have contact info embroidered and maybe something that says they will be right back. It’s very distressing to come across an animal tied up with no understanding of why. I think it would be worth the investment to help avoid unnecessary shelter inductions. Maybe a patch type collar is available with messages. If something was on the collar where one wouldn’t have to touch the dog to identify would be best gbut even a tag with info would help. Thanks for your consideration.

Violation of city code. This property is absolutely maxed out on % of impermeable surface, and yet they have another paving project. There are already flooding problems during heavy rains at this location, in the streets and surrounding properties. Please enforce this. The city and neighborhood cannot handle the amount of runoff from this property as it is. This needs to be enforced.

Was walking to the parking garage after class and when I came into the stairwell two homeless people were at the bottom of the steps. One had a needle in her hand getting ready to shoot whatever she had and the other man sitting watch. This situation is extremely dangerous and not right for the public to see just going to class. Please get your shit together

On the east side of the B-Line Trail, on the embankment along a stretch of about 100 feet is becoming a health hazard due to the following: trash, abandoned vehicle in adjacent parking lot, human waste. All of this is along the South west side of the Monroe Convention center parking lot that is not being cleaned nor policed in any way. We have observed transients defecating and urinating in the bushes between the parking and the B-Line trail. This appears to be a popular spot for transients because the vegetation and low bushes and branches provide cover. Trash is piling up. Transients have been sleeping for multiple nights just off the SW corner of the Convention Center parking lot. The abandoned vehicle is attracting trash and debris inside and out. Please look into why the Convention Center does not make any effort to clean up their SW parking lot where trash in this area is clearly visible on the B-Line trail.
