On Friday, July 12, a crew from JE Reedy pushed through my double locked gate to clear a path so they could install fiber overhead (in a neighborhood that already has fiber). They seriously cut at least 3 trees: 2 are trees that get no taller than 15 feet, and a pine that was near the pole they needed to climb (Duke has cleared this area for years and never had to hack the pine). They said that they came by on Thursday but they did not leave any notice that they would be working in my backyard so they were trespassing. They could have done their work without destroying my fence row but that would have involved creativity and a little effort. I am sickened, angry and sad and want someone in the City to see this mess and come up with a way to make this right. I have several photos but could only upload one.

Stephen was asking about the city's response to Malibou house as he is a resident of the street on which one of their houses is located and expressed that he is already dealing with the effects of slummy properties, and this is making it much more difficult to deal with. He complained about noise, traffic, and the overall parking nightmare that has become of his culdesac.

There is a pole/light at this stop that has metal bands wrapped in two spots for a trash can to be attached. Although the trash can is not attached and sits beside the pole, that is not the problem. Today, one of the metal bands (which sticks out at the end of its seal point) sliced my leg open. Luckily I had a first aid kit, but that is dangerous.

This family constantly has vehicles parked in their front yard at 520 W. Duncan Drive. Makes the neighborhood look trashy.

Kinser Flats 1610 north Kinser Pike residents are trespassing on 441 West Gourley Pike. Leaving trash, needles, excrement' clothes. When asked to leave, they often get combative. It is not even safe to walk outside D/T needles, human waste and belligerent people. They have also done damage to the building. they have attempted to break in, cracking windows and tearing apart air conditioner units.

There is a round about on Summit Street and Cottage Grove. The roundabout is completely overgrown and is also covering up the drainage system. It's so high that when kids are riding their bikes and cars are coming around the corner, they almost get hit. It needs to be cut.

There are two billboards on this parcel N of our neighborhood entrance on N Walnut St to the W beyond the chiropractor’s office. It appears this parcel was once owned by Hoosier Outdoor Advertising so, I’m presuming that once Steve Ferguson obtained it and Parks and Rec is now the owner that both of these billboards can be taken out and until that might happen at least the one with the lights can have those deactived along with any service. It would be perfect if this area would then be able to gain native trees to add our Tree City USA canopy and Haskell Smith would be able to increase our diversity with new trees followed by native shrubs et al that will be most welcomed over any likely invasive bush honeysuckle et al along this main coordinator into our City and from the N into Cascades Park along the E side of Old State Rd 37 or Dixie Hwy. Thank you for letting me know if I can provide any additional information that might permit this prime cooridor becoming most appreciated and greatly improved with native trees and plants stepping up our Greenspace cooridors W and E along N Walnut Street. 601 Maxwell Lane is a house zoned as a rental property but may be in violation of occupancy restrictions. The house consistently has 5 plus cars in the side driveway, on occasion blocking the alley that runs behind S Fess Ave. Garbage is consistently in front of the house, on the lawn and surrounding areas, and parties from the house leave garbage along the alley and on nearby property. At present, there is broken glass in the driveway/alleyway where cars enter the alley from Maxwell Lane, which was presumably broken during a party last evening (with noise complaints filed by neighbors).

Barking dogs in the back yard of 1432 Winfield. This rental has at least 5 dogs that I have counted and there may be 6. It's hard to count the exact number when they're running all over the yard and barking. They don't bark for long periods of time but it's very disruptive. Last night a dog was barking in the back yard of 1432 Winfield between 12 and 12:30, disrupting sleep. This morning I was awakened at 5:48 am by a dog barking in the back yard of 1432 Winfield. This house is a nuisance. I have complained about trash in the yard in another venue.
