Subscriber says he inadvertently missed paying his December bill by a few days and was charged a late fee of $3.50 on an $11.26 bill (the bill was low due to a TCI overbilling error the previous month). Understands he missed the due date but thinks it is ridiculous and unfair that he should be charged so high a fee on so small a bill. TCI took care of the billing misunderstanding.

Mr. Ashba stated that he tried Thursday and Friday (12/23 &12/24) to contact Insight, with no response. Mr. Ashba stated that the voice mail did not answer, the phone just rang. Mr. Ashba's complaint is that he purchased a new VCR plus and according to the owners manuel he must contact the cable company for the channel codes. Mr. Ashba has been disconnected for nonpayment for 11 months. Customer service reps. helped him get his VCR set up and explained that there is a 24 hour answering service.

While talking to Mr. Hagemeyer about a zoning issue, he mentioned that several windows in the building at 1633 W 8th have been broken over the past several months, most recently within the last week or two. He didn't report it but if something could be done, he would appreciate it. Someone may just want to give him a call.
