Mr. Raymond is a westside neighbor and was dissapointed to discover that the weight lifiting equipment @ BBCC was removed.
Commendation: Mr. Frohman wrote Department to thank them for responding to his initial complaint about disorderly conduct at Frank Southern Center. He indicates that things have gotten MUCH BETTER!
Objects to spending $250,000 on farmers market shelter when it will be used by people from out of the county. His taxes have gone up the last two years and he is on a fixed income. As a taxpayer, he is disappointed with this "runaway" taxation.
Farmers Market was fine for years. Ms. Jackson against spending large amount of money for new shelter--was waste of taxpayers' money. She is taxed to death and yet the City won't pick up her leaves. This is simply mismanagement.
Mr. Lualdi feels that certain officers with the BPD have committed the criminal act of illegal search and seizure against him, as well as harrassing him in the process. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED LETTER FOR DETAILS.
Mr. Syder wants to know why recycling does not take place in the housing authority residences. He used to live in the projects and tried to get the city to recycle there- but nothing ever happened.
Mr. Alcorn is upset about vendor trucks parking on 3rd Street to deliver goods. He believes that they should not block one lane. He said the truck was parked at 631 East 3rd street- which does not have a alley behind the house. They also have a small parking lot.
Caller complained about the disorganization of the Parks & Recreation acitivity at the Banneker Center which was cancelled and he states he received no notification.
Martha Stewart has someone who will knock on her door and then runaway. This happens about twice a night. She has called the police many times and nothing has been done.
