There is a tree branch laying on the fence at our property located at 1003 Keri Marie Lane in Bloomington, IN and the tree branch has fallen from a tree that seems to be on the city easement property behind our fence. We would like to request that the city send someone out to investigate and remove the branch from our fence. Thank you!
Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. There is a bradford pear tree (an invasive species) on the city median with the street. I'd like to have this scheduled for removal
Caller reports that trees are hanging over solar panels just north of Brenda at the intersection of Henderson and Brenda.
There is a section of 'street' between Dunn and Henderson that I believe was supposed to be a continuation of E Wilson Street. It is just a grass area that the city owns. However, the city is doing no maintenance on this piece of property. There is a dead pine tree that needs to be removed and a very large maple tree that is overgrown and threatening to drop branches onto cars. This tree also present a health issue in that there is a large poison ivy vine growing up the tree. I have tried calling the city forester multiple times without response. Can the one tree be removed, the other pruned and cleared of poison ivy, and the grass on this city land occasionally mowed?
We are the 1556 S. Andrew Circle, Bloomington residents. This dead tree belongs to the City and it happened to be located right in front of our house. It really hurts our neighborhood’s green environment. We are encouraged to notify the City in order to remove or replace this Dead Tree ASAP. We tried several calls within the last three weeks, but no one really knows where we need to report. Finally we were asked to contact Mr. LEE from your forest department. But He neither answer our phone call nor response to our messages. We are very upset with Lee’s irresponsible attitude. If this is not his responsibility, he needs to call us and let us know who will be the right person to call. His ignorance to residents’s request is not acceptable. We are forced to write this email and hope City will pay attention to it. There is no too small things can be ignored if City really takes its responsibility. Hope to hear from you soon. There’s a map that says this tree is on city property. I submitted a request to Duke to remove limbs over the power line to the street light. They cut off a couple of small branches but left branches that pull on the wire when it’s windy. The tree leans over the wire. The part of the tree over the wire should be taken down. It’s a mulberry.

I was told the woods are maintained by the City of Bloomington. Would you survey the dead trees to avoid possible damage to my property from Winslow woods forrest, and remove the fallen down ones. Also have a few fall down by my neighbors. Worried next storm will bring dead trees fall on my house. Thank you
Hello, There is a dead tree in the median located at the Winston Street entrance to Hyde Park. The tree recently lost a dead limb and it blocked the intersection. My neighbor and I cleaned it up but there will be more dead branches to come. The tree is next to the street light that was recently repaired (thank you!). Can the city cut this tree down? Also, the sweet gum trees in front of the houses on the north side of Winston in the 2800 block have many limbs that overhang the street and often make contact with delivery trucks. Can those be trimmed as well? Thank you!
Our side yard is a conservancy easement outside of the fence line. It seems to be dying based on grape vines taking over. We were told we are not allowed to cut down trees in this area, is this something the city would help with and if there are dead trees, would they be replaced?
