A homeless person has set up camp next to railway tracks just north of the Park Ridge neighborhood park. It is disguised as a pile of sticks. His 2 bikes are easily noticeable next to the Grimshaw Trail. One can follow his tracks to the campsite as he has survived the cold of the last 2 weeks.

Reported by BikeSmith (112 S College) a homeless shelter made out of cardboard was erected on their rear deck, between 113 S Gentry and 117 S Gentry, next to 119 S Gentry. So my name is Jeremiah Jackson. I have been a Monroe county resident almost all my life. I have reported some things to the Bloomington police department and to two news agencies about officer misconduct and abuse of power. I can’t seem to get anything done in this regard. I’m writing to see if I can get a moment of your time? I’d really appreciate it if you or someone in your office would take the time to have a discussion, it involves misuse of power and my request for a restraining order and protective order and the fact these individuals are still stalking me and harassing me. Thank you very much for your time. His name is Jeremy m ayres, possibly Shawn Riggs. And they claim they are an officer named Chris Scott but my attorney has done checked into that. They do not have a warrant or court order. So there harassment is not legal by any means . It isn’t surveillance or an investigation it is blatantly harassment.
Homeowners have recently seen evidence of a homeless encampment in the wooded preserve bordering this neighborhood and request that police check on this area.
The abandoned building behind the Storage Facility I manage is home to many homeless around Bloomington. They are leaving trash all over the ground as well as throwing things into the back side of the property. I myself do not feel safe enough to go back there to clean this up and there are people living out of campers back there and sleeping on the ground. This is causing issues with debris and trash being tossed onto our property causing an unsafe environment. I can not properly clean this area safely and would like the owners if this building to clean up the area from trash and debris.
There are homeless people living in sheds behind this house. They have numerous dogs and one of them attacked a man in the backyard a couple of days ago. These dogs are always off-leash and also come into other neighbors' yards agressively. We need the city to deal with this situation
Watched 2 homeless people shoot up heroin or god knows what outside the McDonald’s. Could we maybe do something about this? It is scary and unsafe.
We have people living in tents on CITY property on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th St. We have over 10 female employees working for us at 611 W 11th Street. We would hate for any of them to have ANY issues with people living on CITY property. Please help these people to relocate to a place where they may receive the services Bloomington may provide. Abandoned truck and there are used needles on the lot from the homeless. We will get it cleaned up but will the city reimburse us??
