Around 6pm on 8/29/22 I was in upper cascade and a man drives a truck right up to me in the shelter house I started to gather my things even though the sign said open I saw the city work flip it to that this morning to open and seen many workers though out the day and was not told about any resuvsions so when they so when they told me they had this for the Bloomington north volleyballso I told him he should have reserved it and you really shouldn't park up here if you're not city, he told me they did reserved it and they just talked to a city worker that it was okay drive up to the sheltet, I told him that the really should have the sign right sorry to bother you and left to go to lower cascade to make this report.

Hi - there is a mosquito infestation in the woods between Oaklawn park & meadowcreek. I can see the trail from backyard. There was a cloud of mosquitos. It is a wildlife sanctuary there are what I believe rare birds I do not want it cut down but I want an arborist/ ecologist to assess if pine forests naturally have 2 feet of weeds, vines, underbrush. I googled misquote habitat & it says this exactly. Does the city own this easement ( trail)? If not - is it in city limits & issue a citation? I looked on city website there is a line here so I don’t know if the woods is on city or county side. There is a new disease in America , EEE, that mosquitos carry and it can be fatal or cause seizures. I know Mother Nature does their landscaping. There is a tree branch laying on the fence at our property located at 1003 Keri Marie Lane in Bloomington, IN and the tree branch has fallen from a tree that seems to be on the city easement property behind our fence. We would like to request that the city send someone out to investigate and remove the branch from our fence. Thank you!

A homeless man seems to be setting up camp in this park. Aren’t some of my tax dollars going to help house the homeless? I am at this park every day and will not be happy if it turns into another park full of homeless people. No problem if they are just passing through like the rest of us, but I don’t want them living here.

Maybe I posted it in the wrong issue line, sending again, as Windlow woods are maintained by the city- previous ticket #: 182007 SERVICE DESCRIPTION After the last storm yesterday, dead trees in Winslow woods fell down, one towards my house, and some within the forest. I was told the woods are maintained by the City of Bloomington. Would you survey the dead trees to avoid possible damage to my property from Winslow woods forrest, and remove the fallen down ones. Also have a few fall down by my neighbors. Worried next storm will bring dead trees fall on my house. Thank you

The condition of the turf on the walled-in multi-sport field is getting pretty dangerous. There are some large exposed seams and bald patches. I've seen someone roll their ankle right on the seam. Playing at the facility from January through March is one of my favorite things in all of Bloomington, so this is coming from a place of love. I'm hoping the playing surface is either replaced or repaired by next winter. Thanks

There is an individual who at least on a weekly basis, tosses many empty beer cans (up to a half case at a time) into the cleared area of Griffey that is on Dunn, across from the group home. The Blue Ridge Bushwackers have removed the honeysuckle from this area and work to keep it clear. We regularly pick up this person's litter. Is there anything that can be done to discourage this behavior? Could we put up a fake camera and/or sign warning them? What suggestions would you have for us? Thank you! Jeannie Galbreath
