Corner E Second Street. Is this a junk yard or a car repair shop?
There appears to be ongoing towing- or auto-related business activity being operated out of this residential rental property. A tow truck is present at the property on a regular basis. At any given time, there are typically 3–4 vehicles stored in the driveway, with 2 additional vehicles consistently kept in the rear of the property behind a bush and shed. Vehicles rotate frequently and are often present for multiple days at a time before being replaced by different vehicles. This pattern has been consistent over time and appears to be more than personal vehicle ownership or occasional guest parking. Observed details: Tow truck is frequently parked at the residence Vehicles rotate regularly (clear turnover) Multiple vehicles stored simultaneously Vehicles remain on-site for days at a time Rear-yard vehicle storage partially concealed from street view Concern: This appears consistent with commercial vehicle storage and towing-related activity at a residential rental property, which may violate zoning, home occupation limits, or vehicle nuisance/parking regulations. Requesting review by the appropriate department.
Similar situation to case #207518. "The Bentley" apartment building on the SE corner of 11th/College has a very bright (and hideously colored) vertical sign right on the corner that is lit up all night long. Is there anything in the city code about illuminated signs? Are they even allowed at residential buildings? What if houses in neighborhoods had such signs broadly announcing the addresses of the houses while being lit up (or maybe even flashing) all night long? This is also an issue at "3-Square" apartments at 916 N. College where there are multiple signs, but they are not nearly as offensive as the others.
Dumpster/roll off is permanently placed attracting vermin.
This dumpster took off has been here for 3-4 years. The owner is using it as a dump site for his construction projects on his other properties around town. It is an eyesore and it attracts rodents.
Why is it acceptable for switch yard park to have a flag sign. Tamales. And also the food truck on old 37? You told my business NO. Thank you Nancy Thompson
Isn’t this truck in violation of UDO 20.04.060 (n) (4)? It has been sitting there for over 30 years, has an expired license plate (used to be 1975, since a couple of months 2016). Sticker cannot be seen because it has a glove hanging over it.
There is a gentleman living in an RV that is parked in the yard of this address. He is 100 percent living in this RV as.his residence
The construction site flood lights are left on all night, pointed into the houses. It is causing it to look like daytime at night time. Is there anything that can be done about it? No one is present working on the site until 6 am, but these lights are blinding.
Painting on side of building is a sign for the business.
