There were several homeless people building a camp near the stoplight at College Mall Rd & E Moore’s Pike. They had shopping carts, bikes and debris by the sidewalk and road. I live and walk through this neighborhood and don’t want to see it become a homeless camp.
People are living out of a maroon van that is parked in front of the house. Trash and debris everywhere around this house. Possible drug use going on as well.
As I tried to obtain cash from the ATM, a homeless man walked up and waited next to me and asked me for money as I was pulling my cash from the machine. This is unacceptable and unsafe behavior
these people are calling locally and telling people they are duke energy 800-691-0475 and saying that you are scheduled for disconnect and to call this number to pay the bill. i called and they have the duke energy recording all set up, but it is clearly not duke enegry! This FRAUD NEEDS TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY to prevent elderly from being scammed!
There has been an increase in police vehicles speeding in my neighborhood, particularly down Rogers Street and Sixth Street. The frequency has increased in the last two weeks and has been rather alarming, loud, and unsafe.
I wish to report this as a "noise violation" to Capt. Pedigo. I think he will understand this report. There is a very loud red Dodge pickup truck that parks along the northbound side of Lindbergh St. The loudness of the truck is a massive disturbance to myself and the neighborhood. Why? He comes and goes all day and into the night. Back and forth and back and forth. Around and around and around. That much travel in and out of our neighborhood doesn't make for a very peaceful life here. Not only does he come and go constantly, but he revs the engine which is loud just by itself, and often peals out. It's a red Dodge pickup truck, badly beat up with a mismatched right rear wheel. It's extremely loud and disturbs the peace. Could you check into it for us? Thank you.

The person who lives at this address produces unreasonable noise on a regular basis in their truck. Most definitely this is a diesel truck and yes, those are louder than other vehicles. However, this person has the need to accelerate intensely on Fairview from stop sign to stop sign and then loudly accelerate the short distance to their house. This happens most every single day and multiple times as this person regularly comes and goes with and without a trailer full of equipment. According to Bloomington's Municipal Code section 14.09.040, unreasonable noise shall mean sound that is of a volume, frequency, or pattern that prevents, disrupts, injures, or endangers the health, safety, welfare, prosperity, comfort or repose of reasonable persons of ordinary sensitivities within the city of Bloomington, given the time of day or environment in which the sound is made. Also included, and described in more detail in Section 14.09.030 of the Bloomington Municipal Code, is unreasonable noise from cars including specifics about mufflers and baffles. It is unknown as to if this is an OEM/stock exhaust system but it is disruptive on a regular basis even when inside a house with all the windows closed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. There are two cars (one navy/black and the other white) that have been parked continuously in the parking lot for about a week or so. The people in the cars have recently started littering the park.
