House was vacant but neighbor is now concerned there may be squatters in building. Check for unsafe, unregistered rental, squatters, to see if owner is the same, etc.
Location of your Problem: 1211 E Elliston Drive Details: This property appears to have transitioned to a residential rental in a primarily single family residential neighborhood. Normally not a problem, however, on a regular basis there are upwards of 7 to 10 cars parked in and around this property. Often they are parked facing the opposite direction of traffic and one truck appears to be a trash dump for the property. Please look into this and confirm if A) this is a legal occupancy per HAND, B) is the parking of so many vehicles permitted?, C) Are there any solid waste concerns for storing a property's trash in a truck on the street? We waited to see if it was a short term issue, but it seems to be a permanent issue. Contact Info Name: Prefer to Remain Anonymous
renting without a permit
Location of your Problem: 518 S Washington Street Details: There are tree parts, a telephone pole, and wires down in my yard presumably from the storms that happened this past spring. I am particularly worried about the wires in terms of safety issues. Is there anything I can do to have them removed? Neighborlink Report Location of your Problem: 3603 S Kingsbury Ave Details: There is a house on our street, S Kingsbury Ave, that has been empty since November 2009 when the owner, Phyllis Phillips died. Different people from the neighborhood have mowed the front area from time to time. The house has several dead trees that need to be removed, lots of limbs and just recently a large part of the tree in the front yard came down in the winds and is still there. It makes the neighborhood look bad. We are hoping you will be able to help get our street looking good again! The address of the house is 3603 S Kingsbury Ave. It is on the corner of Allendale and Kingsbury. As you turn onto Kingsbury it is the first house on the left. We will look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for listening! The neighbors on S Kingsbury Ave. Contact Info Name: Wanda Clark Email: clarkwandal@gmail.com Telephone: 812-320-0294
Location of your Problem: 408 S S. Jordan Details: Our neighbors have failed to use their trash cans which are laying beside the trash bags that sit next to their side door. We have a window that faces their side porch where they put their trash bags. On multiple occasions we have seen 1-3 rats rummaging through their garbage. Their trash is then blown across to our yard or into the street. Contact Info Name: Bianca Critzer Email: bncritze@indiana.du Telephone: 812-350-4078
