Several cars being repaired by outside workers. Now at 8:48pm someone is stripping paint off a car and making a very continuous loud noise while blocking the side walk. At least 5 old cars being repaired in front of this house all day and during the night.
Yard torn up where Comcast did some work a couple months ago. I tried to get Comcast to take care of this but got nothing from them - even after many calls and promises that someone would get back to me. On two seperate occasions I got case numbers. # ECM 0020878893 and ECM 0020232690 and was even told after one of them to keep my line open because I would be getting a call right back. No call came. I have written down much of what has happened during this quest if you want more info. As a result of AT&Ts recent fiber optics installation, there are two large sink wholes next to the sidewalk between my address and my neigbor's. I called Austin Voorheis who did the installation for AT&T, but he has not come to fill in the openings. Photo's attached. This is really dangerous.
One of Duke/Xfinity lineman trucks was doing work along E. Winslow Rd in Bloomington IN. The truck left many ruts in the setback grass that need repair. Also, cut cable pieces were left on the ground/sidewalk. Both of these issues need to be resolved. Thank you
An orange "Core&Main" tarp has been up between our property (1437 N Kinser Pike) and the Aspen Heights property for about 2 years. I spoke with Aspen Heights and they said it was the purview of the city. It doesn't seem to be doing anything productive anymore, as far as I can tell, but if it is, half of it has fallen down. It makes for extra yard work, mowing around it and weedwacking by it. If it can be taken down, that would be great. If it needs to stay up, may we politely request it be fixed where it has fallen.
In a storm a couple of months ago a tree fell and took out powerlines and pole on our property at 2403. But there are other lines down that must be ATT or Xfinity lines. I've called Xfinity and they have done nothing. I doubt the lines are dangerous, but I hope there is a way to compel them to deal with this issue (which also affects other neighbors whose properties the lines run through. FYI we purchased the 2403 property in order to renovate the existing structure. We are in process of designing the renovations, and cleaning out the derelict property.
The city hired a company to work on the corner of Walnut Pk. & Heather last summer. At my request they finally did cover the hole they left. Nothing was seeded or planted. The dirt was clay and rocks. Now the mess has wash away from underneath the sidewalk. If someone would have a look I would appreciate it. I think it needs top soil and grass seed. I will be happy to add flowers. Thank you.
the city utilities dug up this corner on the left when you enter peppergrass condos, they left it muddy it has sunken down below the sidewalk and they never planted any grass or put down straw. im not sure what kind of utility work was done there, but i would think that they should fix this . thank you
See case #207337. The response did not explain why it is ok for these people to store a portable toilet on City property in full view of the neighborhood. It is standing in the "Tree Plot" right by the street. This is City property. Please ask the builders to move their latrine to the back of the lot where people don't have to be continually reminded of their presence.
