708 West 8th St. (corner of 8th & Fairview St.) is rarely mowed, is overgrown with invasives- in the front and sidewalk- trees like Chinese elm, poison ivy, Asian bush honeysuckle are growing out of a limestone wall falling onto the sidewalk part on Fairview. Come August kids will walk to school and the whole legnth of that sidewalk including the house on 9th and Fairview has plants coming onto the sidewalk.
The tree that is planted near our driveway has roots growing extremely close to the house, sewer, and ATT electrical boxes. We were planting plants today and noticed there is a large root next to out driveway and house. The roots have already caused the sidewalk to raise and crack and our driveway is already being lifted. More importantly, thick roots growing next to out house. We would like the current tree cut down to stop any further damage, especially to the structure of the house, driveway, and sewer. We are completely fine to have a different smaller tree planted in its place. Please advise as we recently had plumbing issues and wouldn't want this to get any worse. Hello. I was on the TreeKeeper website awhile back and saw that there used to be a tree in the parkway between the sidewalk and 13th street.
