Ms. Harris called our office on 1/26 complaining that her children were almost hit by a bus (bus #4, driver Glenn). She also complained that she was called the "n" word (which is a derogatory statement for an African American) by the bus driver), after she wanted to get off and he wouldn't open the doors for her and her children to get off the bus. She had stated that she was "very upset" by the service and names she was called by this bus driver.

Citizen met with Mayor during his Office Hours. Concerned that transit system does not run late or often enough, particularly in areas w/subsidized housing where people are more likely to rely on it. Also concerned that no progress has been made on a bus shelter at College mall. THE MAYOR WOULD LIKE AN UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE BUS SHELTER. Please send response to Julio in Public Works.

Mr Myers has contacted TCI concerning his complaint. He was told to write a letter to the corporate office, it was their decision. Mr Myers asked if they were keeping track of the local complaints. TCI's reply was no. Mr. Myers suggested that the Telecom. Council contact Ameritch about getting them in here to provide cable service.

I took my son for youth video program at Rhino's around 3:30. There were only 3-4 teenagers and the instructor told us to wait a little bit because of their broken door or something. I didn't notice what was the problem. Then he came out from his office and told us about their video program. He said that basically kids borrow cameras and go home or somewhere and do their video project.
And I left my son there. right before 6:00 pm I came back to pick him up and my son was sitting on the couch. I asked how the program was and he said they didn't do anything for those 2.5 hours. I couldn't believe him and kept asking questions. he said those teenagers played video games for 2.5 hours and he just watched them. When he said that I remembered that the instructor mentioned to me that "those kids come here to play video games."
I know this is a free program, but I have seen many wonderful free programs throughout the country. I was so regretted that your official website has false advertisement. You really should take out that ad from your website.
