We are the 1556 S. Andrew Circle, Bloomington residents. This dead tree belongs to the City and it happened to be located right in front of our house. It really hurts our neighborhood’s green environment. We are encouraged to notify the City in order to remove or replace this Dead Tree ASAP. We tried several calls within the last three weeks, but no one really knows where we need to report. Finally we were asked to contact Mr. LEE from your forest department. But He neither answer our phone call nor response to our messages. We are very upset with Lee’s irresponsible attitude. If this is not his responsibility, he needs to call us and let us know who will be the right person to call. His ignorance to residents’s request is not acceptable. We are forced to write this email and hope City will pay attention to it. There is no too small things can be ignored if City really takes its responsibility. Hope to hear from you soon. Otherwise, we have to contact Mayor’s office to get City’s attention. Thank you.

So I applied for a gun/concealed carry permit. I paid the fee, then got my fingerprints. They told me to go to a sheriff so I went to the sheriff's office at 301 N College Ave. They said I had to go to the office on 3rd street. I went there and the building was closed so I could not complete my application. What do I need to do from here?

The mailbox post that is shared between myself and two other household (renting from same person) is so rusted that it no longer seems safe. Should the landlord of the two other homes be notified? Who is in charge of replacing it, and how can this be done? It seems that if the very rusty pole is removed, how will the new one be installed? Further up the street, people installed mailbox posts in large buckets of concrete. Does the city really want this? By the way, the property where the post is installed belongs to my neighbors - whose mailbox is on Guy street.
I appreciate your help with this matter.

BLM murals should not be painted on roads or buildings or anywhere else. If you insist on this ridiculous waste of time and money, THEN WE WANT AN ALL LIVES MATTER MURAL. Mr Hamilton you are not fit to be in public office with your communist ways. NO BLM GRAFITTI !!!!!!!!!

Noise all day from the piercing beeping of the construction trucks on the tennis courts. Is there a volume control? Even with all my windows closed and the walls are insulated, I hear this beeping in my house over a block away. It makes it VERY difficult to concentrate and work from home! When will this project be done? This construction project is going to force me to go into to the office.

This is a follow-up on my complaint from 8/18, #173408, regarding the noise from the work on the tennis courts. The piercing truck backing-up noise went on late yesterday, possibly until around 8 pm. This morning it began at 6:40 am. Is this not a bit too early? Is 12-14 hours of this noise in a day not excessive? This noise has been going on all week. How much longer will it persist? Speaking with my neighbors, this noise is forcing us to risk covid and go into the office. Is there no way to turn down the volume on the warning beep? As bad as it is for me, I imagine this must cause some loss of hearing and sanity for the construction workers using the equipment.

Charles A. Northrop, Assistant Director of Real Estate Administration, Real Estate Department, Office of the Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities, Indiana University, advised me on 4/13/21 to contact the City of Bloomington Public Works Department to confirm the ownership of the unmaintained embankment bordering 719 E. Hunter Ave. and the space that had been the backyard of the demolished house at 720 E. Atwater Ave. While he has stated that this part of the embankment is an unpaved public right-of-way alley, he also suggested that its ownership might require confirmation. Such confirmation would enable me to determine the validity of the trespassing allegations of 719 E. Hunter Ave. tenants on 3/19/21 that resulted in the dispatch of Bloomington Police Department officers to the site.

Strong marijuana smell and several people drinking alcohol under bridge at grimes and Morton. Also excessive trash and illegal “camping”/“residence” as I’m sure you are aware by the 100’s of calls/post/complaints! Please pass this to personale responsibile so something can be done!

Interesting...as the Office of the Mayor reported on their FB page that the Office of Mayor WAS aware of Monday night's national security exercise and was notified ahead of time. Get your stories straight!!
