There is a homeless encampment in the woods across the creek immediately behind my home in a residential neighborhood. A matter of feed away from my property. I have sent a letter/email to Mayor and Dep Mayor with no response. As the leaves fall, I will be staring at the encampment and they will be staring right into my home. I have to regularly call the fire dept due to fires at the encampment. I have to listen to them scream, yell and fight. I am also a licensed rehabber and am terribly upset with the way they have ruined the wildlife territory. The woods behind my home is one of the primary reasons that I bought my home almost 10 years ago. I am worried for my children's safety and well being (as well as my own) as the encampment grows. I am devastated that there is now a potential that part of those woods will be removed due to the encampment. There is also a daycare 3 houses from mine as well as several children who I have seen play around the woods and should be able to without fear of an encampment and being hurt. I will happily provide any needed info, picts I have, etc.

Ms. Smith is calling regarding the owners rottweiler. She has young children as many do in this neighborhood, and this dog is mean and vicious. She's extremely concerned b/c it has bitten 2-3 people already. She said she contacted Animal Control and was told to to simply stay away. Can anything else be done?
