There has been a fiber box sitting in my front yard for over 4 months. There is no name on it so I have no idea who to call and complain to. In 4 months time someone should have done something with it or at least removed it. If I could move it into the street and off my property I would as this has been sitting there for 4 months. What am I supposed to do. I assume this has to do with the City Of Bloomington fiber initiative as this neighborhood already has fiber installed. Smithville, very professionally, installed their box very quickly leaving nothing sitting around on our property for months. Pleas help me find out who I can contact to get rid of this. If no additional fiber is being installed then they need to pick up their box.

Hello, I have a question about the city's pesticide program. I was wondering if fireflies have been taken into account, including how firefly hang out in grasses and, especially, how firefly larvae eat various insects and other creatures that might have ingested pesticides. Since fireflies are diminishing throughout the world for various reasons that seem to be mostly unknown (besides the obvious like habitat loss), pesticide use and light pollution are two theories for why based on current research. The pesticide-use theory links it to a slow diminishment, so still having fireflies doesn't mean pesticide use isn't an issue. I am grateful for the fireflies we have in our area, and this question has been on my mind for a while, so I wanted to check in and see what information you have. I appreciate your time. How do we get signage prohibiting large trailers & like vehicles from parking on our neighborhood roads. We have spoken to Dennis & a woman named Cox that told us those kind of vehicles couldn't be on our neighborhood roads. But now your depths saying we don't have any signs saying that . Just curious if there was any discussion with city staff about the air quality being hazardous? I would like to recommend if possible to have restaurants restrict outside seating until air quality is better. Just like with the Covid-19 pandemic where the government shut down businesses, I believe the city should restrict where possible outdoor seating is available for the safety of public.
