Hello, I'm not certain the best way to contact the City of Bloomington about this question, but I cannot seem to locate this information on your website. My husband and I are (attempting to become) first time homebuyers. We have been pre-qualified for an FHA loan, and in that process found mention of local programs offering to cover the 3.5% downpayment. I'd like to request a police patrol for the section of Eastside Drive between Hunter and 2nd Street. This area, particularly the parking lot of the United Presbyterian Church and adjacent rental properties, are sites of frequent noise violations between 11 pm and 3 am.

There was a controlled burning of a house that had led paint on it on the corner of Hillside and High St. Found led-based paint on both mine and my in-laws' yard. Fire chief did not seem to care about properly removing the toxic paint.

The City owns TWO Historic Buildings. The Waldron AND The Banneker. One serves white residents. The other serves Black residents. One is getting a $500k renovation. The other desperately needs roof, HVAC, windows, flooring, masonry and drainage repair. Recover forward should honor ALL residents of Bloomington. Black and white. Invest in The Banneker.

There is a broken utility pole that may fall. I think it's being held up by whatever wires it holds. I'm not sure which utility it is. Location: Hillside, just East of High, on the South side of the street. Across from Covenanter Cemetery.
