To the best of my knowledge, this property is not zoned residential. There is not a HAND permit on file either. But there are people living in the garages and possibly in other structures on the lot (shed/RV/Semi trailer). I don't believe the property is connected to sanitary sewer and may have an old septic not rated for residential.

Furniture and glass were thrown from an apt at the Stageyard last night. There is large debris and broken glass all over the alley behind their building.
The dwelling unit at 608 S Park Ave is managed by Elkins Apartments. The apartment is located above a storage garage that Elkins, in the past few years, renovated and began using for their maintenance storage and operations. The building itself is only on one electrical circuit, meaning the resident of the upstairs apartment is also paying for the electrical use of the maintenance operations below. I don’t have a great understanding of zoning laws, but I wanted to report this in case it was some kind of violation because it doesn’t seem right.
Animal Care and Control, Today, Sunday Oct 8 at 4:15 two young Siberian Huskies are on Highway 45 West headed towards town. Sheriff Dept will not respond b/c neither is injured or aggressive. No one at Animal Shelter answered phone, of course, being Sunday. They did not appear to be either. They seemed happy to be free and going to town.
I am not finding where to record my concern of the proposed jail. It should not be in a highly populated residential area that includes an elementary school. There has to be a better location. The one property was rejected due to wrong zoning. I know that zoning can be changed. If it proceeds in this populated area and property values go down, will taxes go down also? Is there a way to keep street people from rummaging through apartment complex dumpsters in the middle of the night? They make a lot of noise and leave a mess behind and if ask them to stop they yell and threaten people. Is it a crime? If so, does management or property owners need to report them or can tenants/neighbors call the police?
My daughter and 3 of her friends live in close proximity to the house in the photo. I understand freedom of speech and expression, but they feel intimidated by the flag being displayed here. They are 3 girls living alone, they were already nervous with all of the sexual assaults either reported or un reported in Bloomington and specifically the IU Campus. Please address this and have the guys remove this flag.
Large red work trailer has been parked on Wiltshire Ct in Park Ridge East for weeks. Wiltshire Court is generally treated as a parking lot - many MANY city officials have been aware of this - and nothing is ever done.
