Could the City start a street volunteer group that can do things like paint crosswalks and maybe even fill potholes in their neighborhood? Would love to just get paint and a brush and approval to make a few improvements instead of waiting.
This is a question/concern about the Cit of Bloomington Facilities on the corner of Henderson and Miller. I live many blocks north in the Bryan Park neighborhood. Every morning and throughout the day, I repeatedly hear a ringing sound that reminds me of a digital phone (perhaps a lower pitch of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHvalSaaCRM). I don't have direct evidence, but I suspect this sounds is coming from the Utilities Center on Miller street. Does this make sense? If so, is there anyway to reduce the volume and frequency. It’s a nuisance.
Landscaping Building making loud noises at 5AM-6AM on Saturday & Sunday. This violates local noise ordinances & I expect it to be quiet until at least 8AM on the weekends.
I don't this has been satisfactorily. Maybe I wasn't clear. I'm glad this damage doesn't interfere with meter functioning. BUT if nothing has been done, the concrete (?) surround is STILL LOOSE and it is STILL potentially HAZARDOUS to PEDESTRIANS. Thanks! The HVAC system by the northernmost entrance of the Showers Building is painfully loud. I hope a fix is being prioritized, because even from the sidewalk, it's extremely bothersome. Many concerns by County field staff who frequently use that entrance. Thank you!
