Does Bloomington have an indoor pool/aquatic center? This would be very healthy for people who need to swim during the winter months. Thank you.

I am a student at School of Public Health, I am planning an event for my event planning class, and I was wondering its there and permit requirement and local regulation, if I need the park at the Monroe Lake. The event we are planning is craft beer and food festival, and we really need your help. of course, the event is not real, we just planning it for our final project.

This is about the Lake-Monroe.com website. Please send Lake Monroe a copy of this as soon as possible. When will they get off of using Outlook Express and/or Windows Messenger? Who all owns day, overnight, summer, and residential camps other than the YMCA, 4H, Salvation Army, Camp Fire Girls, Boy and Girl Scouts, and Religious Organizations? What is that summer camp that starts with W close to Hoosier National Forest? What all do people camp in other than cabins, tents, yurts, trailers and motorhomes? What all are on the basis of a pavilion other than a gazebo, awning, canopy, and veranda? Do you both have info about adult summer camps? What are all of the rules of and to using since?

The path surrounding the parking lot of the Winslow Sports Complex needs to be repaved. It is worn to the nub, cracked and uneven. It is a hazard to elderly and infirm people (of whom I am one). I walk there every day, several times a day. There are many of us who do this. During baseball games, there are also many parents and grandparents who have to walk this path. You are just waiting for a lawsuit if this goes unrepaired. Thank you. Janet Greenblatt

Hello I am a parent of an IU Ice hockey player. I was wondering if I could get information about what it would take to open the Frank Southern Arena on September 1st vs. October 1st. The players are under a lot of pressure to balance school and ice hockey. During the first weeks of the season, they lose so much time traveling to other rinks to practice. It's tiring and dangerous given their exhaustion. Is there a budget that you would need to achieve in order to afford the opening 30 days earlier than current budget allows. Thank you. Catherine Grimes

On June 26th, I took my daughter to Switchyard Park. We were playing in the Splash Pad some time between noon and 12:30 when I heard a man yell, “Fuck you, Karen!” I looked in the direction of the sound, toward the shelter nearest the Splash Pad (the one with the bathrooms attached). I saw a tall, skinny man in a neon “Parks” vest storming off away from a family with a young child. There were two other Parks employees sitting at a table under the same shelter and the man that stomped off went to light up a cigarette behind the shelter. While I did not witness the entire situation, I presume the woman asked him not to smoke under the shelter while everyone was eating lunch there and he got angry. It was hot that day, so I understand he wanted to be in the shade, but that is not an appropriate reaction. I ask that you please investigate the situation to find out what happened from your employees themselves, as I only witnessed the tail-end of the confrontation. Thank you.

The RCA park shelter house has become a place for parties of hundreds of people with a lot of alcohol consumed by underage people. I thought alcohol was not allowed by private groups in city parks. They make a lot of noise, litter, and take all parking spaces. Why is the city abandoning the people’s parks? They are gearing up now.
