The dump under the bridge entering/exiting The Switchyard park is absolutely a disgrace! Enforce the laws on the books! This town is in the middle of a homeless drug addiction plague. on a daily bases i'm seeing more and more people walking around the downtown area with suitcases all leaving or heading towards the shalom center. This needs to stop! Private citizens are having to take defensive measures (fencing around their business) in their own hands and money because this woke mayor is pandering to these lawless people that don't pay taxes. We are the ones paying the taxes it's time to represent the Bloomington tax payer.

After the last heavy rain in Bloomington, I noticed a large tree next to Jackson Creek on The Goat Farm is going to fall. The roots are showing and the tree is leaning over the creek water. It looks very dangerous because sometimes the children come to play in the water and they may get hurt. If no action is taken, the tree will fall down into the water and block the creek water flowing and cause more damage later. Please see the picture attached above.

There is a trail that connects Lower Cascades to the Skate Park at Upper Cascades by passing the waterfall. The trail is clear except near the north trailhead, just off the northwest corner of the basketball court at the Skate Park. Where the pavement ends the trail is so overgrown that it is nearly impassable and one has to push through the foliage. It would be much appreciated if you would trim through this section so we could continue running this trail as it is now impossible to run through here. Thank you!

Clear creek and Rockport. Shouldn't be confusing public with signs not to park when perfectly lawful and safe to do so on wide low traffic subdivision roads. Apparently trying to appease a few uppity neighbors who don't like looking at cars instead of giving more wide public access to a public trail on a public road. I'll keep parking there and will encourage others to do the same. It hurts no one. Remove the sign.

At the Sherwood Oaks Park we need a short connecting paved path at the north end where the north/south path (almost) meets the east/west sector. When the gate is closed, pedestrians have to slog through mudpuddles or walk on slippery compacted snow to go from one paved trail to the other. Perhaps when you have equipment out there now repairing the flood damage on the NW corner, the crews could lay this small, but extremely helpful addition.

Went to Leonard Springs last Monday. As you know there is a trail map just inside the gate. That map is at the junction of the main trail, the road, and what appears to be a trail off to the right. We decide that we should tackle the difficult part and then have an easy hike backup on the road. Big mistake. The trail was steep and very slick from the rain. Half way down a friend slipped in the mud, tried to steady himself on a tree which immediately gave way causing him to faceplant into downed debris and breaking the radius in the elbow. Luckily we had a soft pack to use as a sling. Being that going backup would be impossible we continued down hoping to pick up the road as indicated on the map. Since the trail in most info we had seen prior listed the trail as easy what we were on was in no way "easy." Much to our surprise we encountered another much more well defined and developed trail which we could take back up. This trail was easy, steps and well groomed surface. Once back on the road we stopped and looked at the trail map again. It soon became apparent the sign was in a very unfortunate location or would have better served by having an annotation like "you are here" with an arrow indicating the trail is actually 50 yards down the road. Please move the sign or add a caveat that what appears to be a well worn trail is very steep and difficult is not the main trail. My friend has had one surgery and faces others to repair the damage. By the way we are all fairly athletic and experienced hikers. thank you for your consideration.

There is a downed power line across the path in Bryan Park. It's on the downhill from the main playground (near the parking lot) on Henderson side.
