I was biking on the B-line, heading south between Rogers and the Showers plaza. There was an MSI guy in one of those little cars they have in the right hand lane. The little car takes up the whole lane and he was driving slowly, which is fine, but I wanted to pass him. So I crept into the left hand lane, craning my neck to make sure there was no one oncoming while I passed. But while I was doing that, the MSI driver started to drift into the left hand lane as well! I didn't know what to make of that so I braked. As I tried to pass again, I tried calling out but I don't know if he heard me. Those things have right-hand drive, so he was on the opposite side of the car from me and as I crept past, it seems he was looking in his right mirror? Anyway please remind them to maintain their lanes or at least to look all around before deviating from their path. Thanks!

A fence has been bent down over the B-Line near where it ends at Adams St. Along the top edge of the fence, is sharply pointed barbed wire. This is positioned above the trail precisely where it will catch a cyclist in his face causing severe injury. This is such a very dangerous situation that it should be taken care of with the highest priority.

A campsite has been created in the Griffy Woods, just south of the North-most entrance to the trail system on Dunn street (south of the top of the hill/Dam). A path has been cleared off of the trail to the campsite area and a large area has been cleared for the campsite. There is a tent set up with gear, etc. present.

At Leonard Springs nature park someone has spray painted “F*** Capitalism” on the side of the old concrete damn wall. It looks relatively fresh.

There is a large tree down across the trail connecting S Basswood Drive and the Twin Lakes Sports Park parking area. I understand the trail may or may not be "official", but it is a well utilized connection by the community regardless and the trail is in good shape besides this downed tree. I was wondering if parks would be able to cut it up to clear the trail as our run club may be utilizing this trail for our route in March? Approximate location of downed tree shown on attached map. Thanks!

This evening, March 4, 2024, around 6:11pm, we had 3 male adults ride down the B-Line trail on little motorbikes (not sure what they are technically called). There were 3 individuals. They were at the parking garage off 10th Street before going down the sidewalk to the B-Line, crossing Rogers St. at the trail Cross, and continuing down the B-Line trail towards Fairview St. I was able to take a quick 5second video of them and I screen grabbed a photo of each rider off of that. I however was only able to upload one photo to the form here.
I'm not sure if they are allowed on the trail but I was thinking they weren't. If they are allowed it seems very dangerous to other trail users. If not allowed on the trail I am wondering if maybe the city could post a reminder on social media and possibly add signs at different points along the trail to remind users as to what is and isn't allowed on the trail.
If you all want the video clip or the other screen grabbed images I am more than happy to get them to you all.
Thanks for keeping our trail safe. It's one of my favorite things about Bloomington!
