Dear idiots.
Why would you put a trails stop light across busy busy South Walnut Street?!! All of that waste of money spent on Switchyard Park ( my favorite waste of tax payer money by the way) and you can't afford a bridge across South Walnut Street?!! THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!

B line trail from Henderson to south walnut is a mess. There are hypodermic needles, lots of dog feces, clothes, garbage and debris. The needles are dangerous and disgusting.

Bicyclists, skateboarders who pass walkers unannounced, catching.walkers off guard and nearly grazing them.
Some shout "Passing on the left", which I always acknowledge. But, too few do so. I suggest signs along trails to affirm and require this simple act of trail etiquette.
We are frequent walkers on the B-line and we think Switchyard Park is a wonderful addition to Bloomington. Thank you.

I applaud the decision for the city to convert a section of old SR 37 through Lower Cascades into a bike/pedestrian trail! However, are you expecting cyclists to be able to bike down North Walnut street to access the entrance? Are there any plans to connect the entrance to any of the existing bike infrastructure in town to actually encourage usage?

B-line lights 76 and 77 have been out for quite some time. it would be great if a person rode the trail periodically to spot and fix these issues as part of a regular process. Thanks.

Could you move bicyclists and runners off the trails at this time of social distancing? It's especially noticeable on the the popular B-Line Trail. Walkers are doing a good job staying apart, bicyclists and runners not so much. There's limited space and time to distance from runners and bicyclists going by - two groups who by the nature of their activity are more likely to be exhaling droplets. Those on bikes could easily use streets which are fairly free of traffic right now, and sidewalks likewise for runners.

Hello, Monroe Parks & Rec,
This is just an FYI and hopefully an appeal for help. I contacted the sheriff’s office on Sunday, March 29, 2020 and since then the camping site looks to have expanded and the trash in the creek and along the road has increased.
If you begin at the parking lot on Country Club and walk south on the gravel road that runs parallel to the trail, it takes about a 4-5 minute walk south to arrive at the spot. It is past the brush and next to the creek. There is a small orange tent and a large blue/green structure (I didn’t get too close), there is also something large in the creek that looks like bedding.
Thank you for any help! My personal email is <patwooie@yahoo.com>
