This plot just had a tree removed form it. CFC folks are concerned that it is dangerous and that somebody could wipe out in it fairly easy. Suggest putting cones on it until it fixed. It's just south of the southeast corner on the intersection of Kirkwood and College Avenues.
Do you maintain the Griffey Reservoir trails? The trails going from Meadowood through the woods no longer have chips on them. and in some areas, vegetation is now overhanging the trails. A couple of the direction signs seem to have been switched around a bit. A number of us here at Meadowood would be thrilled to have some maintenance done! Many thanks!
light on b-line pole 87 is out.
The water fountain (doggie fountain portion) on the Clear Creek trail that is halfway between That Rd. and Rockport Rd. (Just behind the house at the end of Dove Dr on the trail) is not functioning. It has not been functioning all year at all since it was turned on in the spring. Our pets out walking could use a little repair help please :) Thanks, Kevin
We were walking today on the Jackson Creek Trail & going up the hill that goes in the woods. I take my camera to get photos of wildlife. About halfway up the dirt trail, past the black top path, there is a tree located down at the creek which has a hollow hole in the base of it. I also like to take photos of tree structures. Inside the tree, it looks as though there is a trap set. Please keep my name anonymous. Thanks, Barb
Oak tree along Cascade trail (across from dog park) could use a little attention. It's been like this for at least two months. Certain mowing crew has seen this, along with the sign they mowed over. Not certain why they have not taken the initiative to correct this... Respectfully, Ralph Vargas
Hi! There is an abandoned bike tire locked to the city's bike rack at the B-Line and Dodds in front of Hopscotch. Can you please remove it? Thank you! Jane
The rusty statue is bent again. Like, ugly statues are one thing. Everybody has different taste and that's fine. But this disaster seems to be fragile, too. So, uh, remember: BIM is right there.
Hello. I am a regular user of the Bloomington Rail Trail. I love the trail, however, recently the trail was altered in a way that is dangerous and less than ideal for running, walking, and biking. The original surface was recently disturbed with new material which was applied unevenly and makes it hazardous or impossible to run and bike on. I have seen several minor accidents and suspect more are occurring. I know several in the fitness community that are unhappy with the recent changes to the trail. I would appreciate any info on why this change was made and if there are any plans to improve the situation. Thank you! Craig
