I see that the Winslow trail around the baseball/softball fields is being upgraded. I've heard it will be widened and paved.
Please be sure to put up a sign to remind bicyclists to yield to walkers--the sign you posted on the Jackson Creek Trail would be great. I walk this path 2 times a day. And lately too often bicyclists just plow down the trail expecting walkers to clear out of the way, even when they come upon a walker from behind.

I am wondering about the wind fall limbs in local parks, am I allowed to pick it up and take it home for my fire place???? Also when the City cuts down trees what happens to the wood??? Thank you for you time. I have lived in many places and Bloomington has some of the best parks I have seen. Thank you for that

#92 light is out.
I used to simply contact the Pks person in charge of replacing the light bulbs, but I don't know if he is still with Pks!

On the Clear Creek Trail just north of the That Road Trailhead, Nestbox 24 is down. This box been used many years in a row for tree swallows who will be returning to the area soon. I would be happy to repair it myself if you would like me to, but I’m hoping it can be up again by the time the birds are looking for their nest spots.

Trees down. Trail is very soggy. There is evidence of off-path use and illegal dumping. Trail needs attention.

There is a tent in woods by light pole 125. I don’t know if anyone is staying in there or not.

Why are city employees smoking on the B-line trail? A worker flicked a cigarette across the path and directly in front of me as I was running. Why am I breathing in second hand smoke from city employees on the B-line? Disgusting.

Please slash back the overhanging tree limbs along the wooded asphalt trail between Olcott Park and the lower goat farm area. People have to duck and weave to avoid branches.

Overhanging bushes make travel difficult, and even dangerous at night for bikers and runners. Beware the poison hemlock on the west end of the eastern part of the trail, just near the swimming pool. Sap can cause skin irriation.

The Polly Grimshaw Trail has shrubbery/trees over hanging such that one has to duck (at least) to avoid the branches while biking. This is especially a problem as it effectively makes the bike path one way in some locations. Please trim the branches to increase safety along the trail. Also, there is poisonous hemlock along the trail. It woudl be great to remediate that section of trail. Thanks!
