Public spaces, be they roundabouts, street corners, boulevard medians or just the grassy strips along sidewalks are regularly cluttered with signs for events and services. What are the rules about these things? I suppose there is a spectrum of acceptability, ranging from school performances to community theater to summer camps, but more and more often I am seeing them being used to advertise businesses. In the attached photo you will see that there are signs on the Moores Pike traffic circle for the C3 bar in Renwick. Earlier this year the south side of town, and I imagine elsewhere, was awash in signs for some transient snake oil salesman. I would like to know what the law allows and why there is no enforcement. Case #158566 Yard Waste 2431 N Skyline DR I guess the city thinks what they are doing at this house in the front yard is acceptable. I don't, and the neighbors don't but obviously you won't do anything about it.

The house at 2615 Rockport looks abandoned. Construction/repairs was being done on it but a large branch fell into the house in the back and now has a large hole in the roof. I'm concerned that the house has fallen into neglect and is now abandoned. Would the city please look into it and let me know what is going on with it? -Lucas

who ever does the mowing on sare rd across from renwick and down by the round about, when they mow the blow grass all over walkes and into the road. they never clean up after they mow, i notice this in many ares also, it not only looks awful but clogs up the drains. many of these lawn services do this, and or the city when they mow. thanks

Abandoned vehicle: There is a red Ford Taurus that appears to be abandoned in the parking lot at 806 Auto Mall Rd. Vehicle has been in the same location since February. Tires are all flat and parts of the car are coming off. Indiana Plate 380LHY

Our street has no street sign (or stop sign). I live in Winslow Crossing and we don't have a sign at the intersection of Henderson & S Walnut St Pike (nor do we have a stop sign leaving our neighborhood) and it has resulted in a lot of confusion in the slightly more than year I have lived here since I purchased 2851 S Walnut Street Pike. Included are friends/family being unable to locate the address (we have no neighborhood sign and my HOA when I contacted them is in no hurry to get one), when I called for a non-emergency police issue he couldn't find the neighborhood, packages have nearly been sent back or just plain delivered to the wrong address because my address "doesn't exist" (because they can't find it). So I'm wondering what it would take to get a street name sign and hopefully also a stop sign, installed at the main intersection to help with the confusion. Please let me know if there's anything I can do about this because it's becoming quite frustrating! Thank you, Denise J. Humphries
