It is my plan to develop my 5 lots on N. Oolitic. I can't do that unless I have help with enforcing certain codes. 1209 W. 11th has garbage, rubbish, old lawnmowers, and other detritus stacked on and around the house and property. I actually think the house may be abandoned and is being used as a trash dump. Regardless of the section of town, we property owners don't like our property value destroyed by places like this. Please help us by forcing a clean up. Thank you.

The yard of this property has been in this condition since Mid-December. As this is a registered rental in the City of Bloomington, it is especially maddening as one might assume a ‘professional’ property manager was responsible for maintenance of the property.
Can you copy Doris Sims, the HAND director, with this complaint?

The property at 312 N. Washington St. has had bags of trash in its front yard, plus in tree, for weeks now. The bags are ripping open and sending trash flying. There is what I like to call the Trash Christmas Tree by the sidewalk, a large branch filled with trash.

In the 1300 block of W 6th Street, the culvert where the open ditch goes under the North side of W 6th Street is nearly closed by debris, limbs, trash and a tire. The water is backed up. When it gets warmer it will be a prime mosquito breeding site and public health nuisance.
This open ditch re-emerges near Kleindorfer's Hardware, goes around the auto body shop and under 3rd Street between that shop and Hinkle's Hamburgers. Litter, trash, plastic wrap & etc line the banks of this ditch and are no doubt being washed into the watershed.
Shouldn't these businesses be required to send an employee out there periodically to clean up this trash?
