the co-op at the intersection of Kirkwood and Madison streets has construction waste such as insulation, toilets, window screens, ductwork sitting out for weeks now. This is a hazard and an eyesore. Isnt someone at the residence or the construction crew responsible for clean up? Are the co-op members somehow exempt from the usual trash cleanup every other homeowner is expected to compy with?
Residents at 3441 have piled bags of trash (a few weeks worth) in front of their house.
807 S Henderson St. Trash has been on sidewalk for pickup for over 1 week. It has been torn open and is on the street and in the yard.
Lots of trash on walnut pike. College mall area. Please clean up these areas. So much needs to be picked up. I do pick up when I can; but cant do it alone.
Neighbors leave their trash bins at the curb all the time, continuously. They never bring them in, and will often leave recyclables next to them so they blow away everywhere.
Could you folks find out if the HUGE mess that is sitting on the corner of Washington and 3rd which was a necessary by-product of building the transit center (which is just great) will be cleaned up and the surface greened until that corner is purchased for another use? 702 West Allen (rental) 1126 South Fairview 1112 South Fairview (rental) The houses listed above continually have a buildup of trash in their yard. 614 West Allen The yard looks like a junk yard. The continuous supply of trash lying around has attracted pests and dogs to dig in to it. So garbage gets all over the neighborhood. One of the pests that the trash is attracting is skunks. My dog has been sprayed once and I have had a few close calls. This past Saturday a pit bull came out of a large pile of trash and kept barking at me and my infant son trying to defend his treasure. This is my second complaint about trash in this neighborhood (the first time was just about 702). I wish to stay anonymous about my complaints so I don’t make enemies out of my neighbors, especially the ones that own their houses. So please help me resolve this problem. Thank you
