I was crossing walnut and miller drive light today on my walk signal when a city of Bloomington trash truck nearly ran me over. If I hadn't jumped back in time I would be dead right now. I had the right of way as it was at the crosswalk on the walk signal. They never even slowed down. I am requesting if there is any surveillance of this light if it could be looked at around 12:30pm on 5/27. I was too shook up to get a number or anything from the truck but I feel this is something that should be brought up to the drivers of the truck that they need to look out for legally crossing pedestrians.

My neighbors loaded a box spring and several bags of trash out of their house about a month ago and it hasn't moved. At least one person walking down my alley dug through this garbage, as well as several animals. They are IU students who seem to have come back about once a week, but haven't taken any trash to the curb since graduation. It's now ripped open and blowing around their yard and the alley.

913 W. 11th is STILL not cleaned up. The overgrowth is STILL not cut back to where the line of site is clear to turn from Orris to 11th. You have warned. You have fined. Now what is the problem? The house is unoccupied and is used by the owner for nothing but storage - or should I say dump. The trash is unsanitary, unhealthy, dangerous to the children living next door, can attract rodents and other disease-ridden animals, and is completely disrespectful to the neighborhood.

Someone dumped mattresses in the alley. We no way of knowing who is responsible but they continue to be an eyesore, more than the dumpsters.

Trash and debris have led to Rats and Possums investation. Over grown grass as high as 24 in in places and piles of leaves provide cove for rats and breeding ground for tickbecomia public safety concernsmosquitos. 304 Hopewell, wood pallet, 3 vacuum cleaners, an air conditioner on the ground under a window between the houses, the pile of automotive engine parts have not been removed yet ( under a blue tarp). Sure there is more....

Trash/Illegal Dumping - 913 West 11th Street. This house is unoccupied. Paths into the backyard are clear and worn indicating fresh traffic into the yard. Look at photo. I believe that the trash may be being dumped there.

There is an orange construction barrel in the alley between 11th and 12th and Lincoln and Washington that needs to be reunited with its kind. It has been there since early May.
