Recycling bins filled with overflowing trash sitting by the curb, again. Pick up day is Tuesday. Your staff needs to communicate better with renters because they don't seem to understand this from past complaints and investigations. Don't close the case until you actually get compliance.
The owner of this house has at least five cars, at least two of these are junk cars and don’t run. Additionally, there is trash on his front porch, yard, and driveway that has not been cleaned up in months. Please have this resident clean up his property.
The individual living at 1316 South Palmer always has tons of trash on his front porch and in his driveway. As homeowners living (and paying taxes) in this neighborhood, we would really appreciate it if the city of Bloomington required this individual to clean up the yard and maintain the house.

An anonymous complainant alerted the Solid Waste District about "illegal dumping" of ash wood, as well as concrete and trash at this location. We did a quick inspection and found wood and other materials piled on the ground at the property. Additionally there is a trailer that appears to contain household waste, and there is trash around one of the buildings (on Allen Street side). I work at Wininger Construction at 1605 S Walnut. Neighbor two houses south has lots of trash in back, including stolen shopping carts. Also, due to the amount of foot traffic into that home, I suspect potential drug activity. You may use the Wininger parking lot in back, to view the trash at that house. (Enter our parking lot from Southern Drive. Our office driveway on Walnut is very steep). We reported this house a year or so ago, and I think these are different tenants, but the trash is piling up again. Not a good first impression on folks patronizing our business, and appears to be a health hazard for the neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration.

I live in a row of townhouses in the Summit Woods neighborhood. We're serviced by two Rays trash dumpsters in the road behind our houses. They have not been picked up in over two weeks and the trash is piling up in a gross and unhealthy way (contractors and college students are also driving in to dump their trash overnight which is making everything worse). I called Rays this morning and they said they can't service these dumpsters because of the snow. I explained that they hadn't been serviced for a week or more before the storm and they disputed this and said there is nothing they can do to help. Is there anything the city can do to help us? There are a lot of families in our neighborhood with small kids and this has become an ongoing health as well as an eyesore issue for us.
This homeowner takes out her trash and recycling carts on Sunday and places them near the sidewalk. Our neighborhood does not get picked up until Thursday mornings. For 4 days, the neighbors have to look at that eye sore and when it's windy, the cans tip over and debris blows around everywhere. This person should take out their cans on Wednesday evenings like everyone else does. Thank you.
