The property right next door, 1623 E 1st St, is a rental property that the tenants just moved out of. The trash can is overflowing and blocking the street for over a week. (Mr. Bigelow called the front desk of City Hall and spoke with me - Isabella V)

I work at Wininger Construction at 1605 S Walnut. Neighbor two houses south has lots of trash in back, including stolen shopping carts. Also, due to the amount of foot traffic into that home, I suspect potential drug activity. You may use the Wininger parking lot in back, to view the trash at that house. (Enter our parking lot from Southern Drive. Our office driveway on Walnut is very steep). We reported this house a year or so ago, and I think these are different tenants, but the trash is piling up again. Not a good first impression on folks patronizing our business, and appears to be a health hazard for the neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration.

An anonymous complainant alerted the Solid Waste District about "illegal dumping" of ash wood, as well as concrete and trash at this location. We did a quick inspection and found wood and other materials piled on the ground at the property. Additionally there is a trailer that appears to contain household waste, and there is trash around one of the buildings (on Allen Street side). The trash/recycling crew left most all cans thrown off the sidewalk, into the road on their sides today. This is not normally the case, and it was absolutely NOT weather related. The trucks woke me up three times today. And then I find my trash can only half emptied, with one bag still in it. Either the trucks are malfunctioning, or someone was in a bit of a hurry to get done with the route.

The owner of this house has at least five cars, at least two of these are junk cars and don’t run. Additionally, there is trash on his front porch, yard, and driveway that has not been cleaned up in months. Please have this resident clean up his property.

The individual living at 1316 South Palmer always has tons of trash on his front porch and in his driveway. As homeowners living (and paying taxes) in this neighborhood, we would really appreciate it if the city of Bloomington required this individual to clean up the yard and maintain the house.

There was a homeless camp in the woods by Clear Creek at the end of Pinewood Drive. The people have moved on, as all their tents have been removed. However, there is a lot of remaining trash. Is it possible to have sanitation clean up this area? Please let me know if I need to contact someone else for this request. Thank you!

Recycling bins filled with overflowing trash sitting by the curb, again. Pick up day is Tuesday. Your staff needs to communicate better with renters because they don't seem to understand this from past complaints and investigations. Don't close the case until you actually get compliance.
