Trash pickup should not be delayed for weather. My business is open and my people are working so my government should be open and it's people working too. Especially since I'm paying for it with my taxes. Should I delay my utilities payment by 2 days this month for weather as well?

This is what I was left with, after your recycle gang "emptied" it on Thursday morning. The trash crew always gets here about 2 hours earlier than the recycle truck, and that was still full when I left home at 6:15 am.

This morning when I went out to gather up my carts I noticed that the bar that goes across the middle of the front of my small trash cart was only in one hole. The bar fell completely off completely as I pulled the cart up the driveway. I assume that bar is essential for emptying the cart. Do you have any advice about how I can get the bar to fit back in both holes? At the moment it’s in one hole and angled up at about a 30 degree angle, which doesn’t seem very useful. Just out of curiosity, what is the expected life-span of the carts? They are already starting to look beat up. My recycling cart has a piece missing on the corner of the lid. This has been going on for weeks now. Our trash has not been picked up for 2 weeks IN A ROW. We have called sanitation and the city multiple times now about this issue. Going 2 weeks without pickup, we’re going to have a lot of garbage. After about 3 weeks of not receiving trash pickup, they proceed to STILL not take any of our trash. This is getting really ridiculous and to add on top of it, they give us a warning FOR THEIR ISSUE. Why don’t they do their job and find our trash bins every week that we have on the curb instead of just driving by them each week. This issue needs to be fixed asap.

Hello sanitation team, I first want to thank you all for installing a trash enclosure outside our building to help with the trash flow. I wanted to ask if at all possible if we can get a lid on the regular trash side that is the same size as the recycling side as our plastic platter fit in that hole and we has seen a significant amount of loss in this item due to our outdoor seating. Please let me know if we can do this it would be amazing to take care of. thank you.

Hello, I live at 4217 E Morningside Dr. This morning was our pickup and when I went to wheel my can away the right wheel is very loose. Still on but wobbly. I then noticed a divot in my grass right where the can was. Looks like the can return was a little too forceful! Not sure what the next steps are. Pic included. Dean Barrett dbbarret@iu.edu
