Our trash was properly spaced and positioned at the end of our driveway. It has been left without the trash collected for two weeks now and we have trash building up in our house and do not know what to do. This is creating a stressful and unsanitary environment and the sanitation department left no reason or note as to why this is happening.

Please put more trash cans in front of our building. I am the director at 234 N. Morton at the Kadampa Meditation Center. We used to have trash cans in front and at the corners. No longer since the renovation of the corner of 7th and Morton st. Please add this to your budget as I am continually picking up trash. Especially in front of the bagel shop. It would help! For the past two weeks our trash and recycle have not been picked up, but our neighbors have. We have paid our bill and we have followed all of the rules listed on your website. The only problem I can see is perhaps the trash and recycle cans were too close to each other, but they had been moved (over 4 feet apart from each other) prior to this Monday morning pick up. We would like our things to be taken, and if possible before the next weekly pick up. Thank you!

To enhance accessibility for mobility wheelchairs, could sanitation workers please replace empty bins on grass off sidewalks? I am talking about the new sidewalks and walking path on West 17th that are situated by the curb without a grassy strip between the sidewalk and curb. Disabled people have difficulty navigating wheelchairs on trash day. Neighbors place their bins correctly at night but sanitation workers unload the empty bins willy-nilly on the sidewalk. It will take more work but hopefully they understand. Sanitation workers do a great job.

This has been going on for weeks now. Our trash has not been picked up for 2 weeks IN A ROW. We have called sanitation and the city multiple times now about this issue. Going 2 weeks without pickup, we’re going to have a lot of garbage. After about 3 weeks of not receiving trash pickup, they proceed to STILL not take any of our trash. This is getting really ridiculous and to add on top of it, they give us a warning FOR THEIR ISSUE. Why don’t they do their job and find our trash bins every week that we have on the curb instead of just driving by them each week. This issue needs to be fixed asap.

I just started renting here and both my trash and recycling containers are broken on top. The lids. So the recycling especially get wet when it rains. Can I get new lids or totes since I just started my own service here?
