A white Dodge 1500 van with Indiana license plate # 736MDU has been parked on the south side of First Street in front of 324/322 E. 1st St. since May 29. It has not moved during that time period. At night and in early morning hours, we have seen a man getting in and out of the van.
Phone call from 1211 W. 11th complaint of parking on an unimproved surface (van with windows out) at 1209 W. 11th. Back yard was stated.
Car without license tag (maroon van) sitting for months in drive of 4011 e Morningside when I drive past. If this allowed, untagged cars?
Caller reported abandoned vehicle parked behind 2520 W 3rd St (off S Yancy Ln). Caller stated car has not moved in months, front driver window is missing, and is possibly being sleep in.
The abandoned car is at 1624 W. 7th. The map wouldn't pinpoint that address exactly.
There's been an abandoned SUV in the south side Kroger parking lot for three weeks or so. It's a silver Chevy Uplander license plate 392RH. It's probably a county thing, but I couldn't figure out how to report it to the county.
Vehicles from the auto salvage yard parked on the street for months, in various stages of being dismantled.
There is an abandoned Red Honda Accord on the corner of E Vermilya Ave and S Walnut St. It has been there for atleast a month with out being moved-- there are weeds growing up around it so I has probably been much longer. You can even find it parked in the exact same location if you go to the street view on google maps it is parked on the curb between 100 and 103 E vermilya Avenue! Needless to say it has been there for a long time. Attached is a picture of the back of the vehicle with make/model, liscense plate number. Michelle called to report an abandoned vehicle on Oak Street between 6th and 7th Street. The corner address is 1100 W. 6th St. It has been there for 2 months and its plates expired in July.
