This website is a bit of an improvement from the old one, however, there are still too many steps to get to where you want to go. Also, where is anything about sustainability on the website?

Hi, Just a quick email to let you know about a link on your site which does not appear to be working. It's on this page: http://bloomington.in.gov/sections/viewSection.php?section_id=84 I'm getting an error message when I visit this link: http://www.fema.gov/areyouready/ We’ve put together a resource which I think would make a suitable replacement for the broken link - http://ammo.com/articles/why-prepare-for-a-disaster. It covers subjects such as why you should plan, what a disaster supply kit should contain and the different types of disasters; manmade and natural. All the best Sam

I notice road and sidewalk tabs, but nothing for bicycle paths and lanes. When will a tab to note closures and blockages (or complete removal of things like bike boxes) of any bicycle infrastructure be added to the app? Even short blockages/lane closures are very relevant for bicycle commuters trying to get to work safely and on time.

Hello, my name is Agatha Grey. I'm a young 20 something year old woman who in the last couple of months or so found herself living on her own. As one can imagine, because of this I've become very financially conscious as it's only I that now pays my bills. But I am also now experiencing the new freedom of being independent that I never had in the past. I've always cared about the environment, but admittedly never put too much effort into staying green. Having a roommate or living with family members, any attempt I did to either recycle or turn off lights went pretty much unnoticed until I just sort of gave up all together. Now there's no one around to disorganize any plans I have to switch to being more green! Saving energy is big for me, as I said earlier, because of my financial situation, but it's not nearly as costly as I thought it would be to be green in other ways. I learned a lot through your page: http://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=7212 It was a great starting point for me as I humored my new interest online. I was wondering if I could help out as well by providing more information to your page. I think this article http://www.bbcleaningservice.com/get-clean-go-green.html would go nicely on your page. It mentions some of the pretty common ways of staying green, but there were things that I never knew, like how fordable solar panels are becoming and all the different types of green cleaning recipes out there. Let me know if you like it enough to post it on your page. I hope you have a great day!

I noticed that the link to our VITA program at http://bloomington.in.gov/vita goes to the Spanish version of our page. Could you please change the target URL to reflect what is written in the text? It's correct there. Thank you!

Looking around for lectures in Bloomington, I found the Lifelong Learning Coalition. The website is way out of date however. Is there another way to access this information?

Hello, My name is Lamar Reinhardt and I’m the Community Energy Manager for Electric.com. I'm emailing you because I would like to request for Electric.com to be added to your utilities page as a utility resource for your residents. Electric.com offers energy plans in your area and will allow your residents to learn, compare and shop for electricity and natural gas in deregulated markets. The benefit to your residents is so that they can have the opportunity to choose the best energy rates for their living needs. Would you be willing to add our site to as a energy retailer? You could add the resource here: https://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=593 The phone number to use is 877-752-1632 and the website to list is: http://www.electric.com I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions. In advance, thank you for your time! Thanks, Lamar Reinhardt Energy Community Manager Electric.com (325) 261-9239 admin@utility.electric.com

I work with a DISH Network retailer that provides TV and Internet service for Bloomington residents, and I noticed that your "Video Service Providers" page lists DIRECTV and other providers but not DISH. (http://bloomington.in.gov/videoservices) Please consider adding DISH to your list of resources — it would help give new residents a more comprehensive view of available services, as well as help them to make informed choices. The addition under "Contacting Local Video Service Providers" would be fairly simple: DISH Network Link: www.dishpromotions.com Please feel free to contact me at 262-437-2372 or mkrieger@sterlingsatellite.com if you have any questions or would like further information. Hi, I'm wondering how I can add (or request to add) an event for the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation to the City of Bloomington online calendar. Thanks!
