There is a dead deer on the Clear Creek Trail just south of West That Road on the left hand side if you're travelling south on the trial. It's just beyond the .5 mile maker and West That Road Marker.

This South Carolina town has produced these very inexpensive masks and are handing them out for free. They are based on IU professor and Bloomington resident Jiangmei Wu's free origami design. They can be easily assembled by the user using rubber bands and are made of paper. Something for Bloomington to think about doing. Thank you. The portable restrooms located near the basketball court at Switchyard Park are in terrible condition and have been for weeks. The attached photo is an indication of how it looks every day. More generally, the restroom situation at Switchyard needs to be reviewed. closures during the winter months are not only inconvenient, they are not practical for the many people who use the park during the winter. Moreover, the amount of trash at Switchyard, especially near the pickle ball courts, the basketball court, and the bocce ball courts is awful. And on the bocce courts, there still is no rake for grooming the courts for play. I realize that the summer months are coming and there are likely to be more people working and volunteering in the park to keep it clean and safe. However, for a park as popular as Switchyard, there needs to be a review of how resources for maintenance are allocated to it. For example, there seems to be no reason the restroom within the police substation needs to be closed in the winter. And it would be nice to have lights installed at the pickle ball courts. speaking of the pickle ball courts, might it be possible to install a rack where players can leave their paddles to indicate who is next for a court? Maybe a 1-hour time limit if people are waiting? Thanks for listening.

Hello my name is Clifton Stephney owner of C&T Clean Team here in Bloomington. With the virus going around we are getting more calls for cleaning and we are trying to respond to them all. Unfortunately we are not able to buy gloves and most importantly we can't find mask. Is there anyway you can help us find them? Thank you, Clifton Stephney C&T Clean Team 812-219-8843

The new median installed seems like an addition to try to help pedestrians make a safe transition across the street. I think that’s a great step as I often have worried about students at dismissal from south trying to safely make their way across that intersection to the bus stop. However as it currently is, it is not safe for drivers & maybe not even pedestrians. I watched 2 cars drive right over it just after dark, one definitely popped a tire. When I passed it another time I noticed multiple tire marks over the median. There does not seem to be clear enough markings on the median to warn drivers that they need to swerve to the side to avoid it. This is certainly true at night, yet I believe may be true during the daytime too as there are no signs or markings to show that the driver must shift to the right around the median or slow down in any way. Perhaps this measure taken to try to improve safety is actually more dangerous to all. A pedestrian may have a false sense of safety standing on an unmarked median that is not early visible or marked for cars to see. Can it be made into an official crosswalk with proper signage and clear expectations for drivers to slow, be aware and stop for pedestrians? Please take steps to make this safer for drivers and pedestrians. If school ever resumes this seems even more dangerous than it was before the addition of this median. Thank you!
