Farmers Market Shutdown, I have no idea what threats or racial incivility the Mayor knows exist in the Bloomington farmers market that threaten the community. I don’t know what “the” white supremacists said, did or threatened to do in Bloomington. Did some nut case threaten to drive a truckload of nitrates into the courthouse like a disgruntled landowner did up in Lafayette years ago. If so, arrest them. Lead, don’t cower. If the offense isn’t prosecutable stay calm and carry on with business. Open the Market. Sell veggies...not manure.

What you are doing to Schooner Creek Farms is absolutely embarrassing and goes against everything America stands for! I hope she sues you for violating her American rights!

You folks are disgusting for promoting White Supremacy in the name of the 1st amendment and arresting people who actually are using the 1st amendment for a good reason. I hope you get all the damnation you deserve.

Bloomington Parks Department violated Indiana University professor Cara Caddoo's right to free speech and protected white supremacists instead.

Will Mayor Hamilton sign the pledge that President Obama has asked mayors to sign to re-evaluate Bloomington's use of force policies? Thanks.

Climate Tax: I do not support Mayor Hamilton’s proposed 37% increase to the local income tax rate to address climate change. Mayor Hamilton has stated that the additional revenue will be used for a “sustainability fund” to “mitigate climate change” and “work for climate justice.” I have no idea what he means by “climate justice,” and the notion that actions taken by a small midwestern city could have any measurable impact on changing the global climate is ridiculous. But more importantly, this proposed tax in regressive and hits people living on a fixed income and the poor the hardest. If you want to help the poor and people living on a fixed income, don’t take any more money away from them for another wasteful government spending program.

Prosecutor and Mayors view on taxes that were in paper the week ending July 19th. I was out of town all week and read the newspaper and for the first time in my 72 years living here was embarrassed to say this was my hometown and am ready to move out of this town.

Comment concerning public input on projects and surveys Greetings! I was wondering if it would be possible to have a page on the city's site that conglomerates all public input for surveys and city projects? During 2020 there were/are several surveys (MPTO, Climate change, etc.) and projects for public input (hospital site, 7-line, etc.). My thought is that it would be convenient for the public if there was a link on "https://bloomington.in.gov" web page that links to a web page that has all active surveys and city projects that are taking public input. Thank you for your time, Joe Neukam
