Hi Celeste, I reached out to Douglas to get more information about the report he submitted. Doug sent me the following message in support of the mayor and I said I would send on to you all. "I guess I didn’t have success with your web page. Did not mean to add to your work load. As an old IU grad I have fond memories of your city. What I was attempting was to just send a compliment to the mayor for his letter. The issues are difficult. I taught 7th grade in Gary in the sixties. Enjoy the beautiful fall soon to come."
