My sincerest apology for not responding to your initial Ureport. We discussed your comments/feedback publicly at the last two Bloomington Art Commission Meetings. Due to the Visual Artist Rights Act, we could not do anything to the mural until the contract expired which did on August 31st. The Artist was OK with the addition of the BLM language on their mural. We are currently working with the property owner on a new partnership agreement and new Request for Qualifications regarding the People's Park site. Part of the RFQ will require LGBTQ+ representation in the new mural.
