My daughter and I are regularly using the Bryan Park Pool this summer and I am upset at the lack of cleanliness of the pool itself. I had a pool growing up and I understand completely the challenges of keeping a pool clean. But it is OBVIOUS that little to no skimming or use of the pool vacuum is being done. There is constantly dirt in the pool along with leaves and other debris, band aids, live crawdads and yesterday (June 27) and dead mouse. This is clearly pathetic on the Parks and Rec staffs part to keep the pool clean and sanitized. It opens at 11am, staff needs to be there a little early to check the pool thoroughly to make sure it is in proper conditions to use. Stacey D.

The city uses facebook to announce news that it does not post on its website e.g. letter of intent with Meridian. I don't have a facebook account. Why is the city of Bloomington (indirectly) subsidizing and promoting Facebook by putting information on Facebook that it does not provide on it public website.

I'm very impressed with your website. The volume of information available is remarkable. However, I've been waiting two months for the minutes of the Appeals Board meeting in December concerning the Horvath communication facility on Wiemer Road. Can I expect it anytime soon? To trash pick up service. I have asked now twice if the trash collectors can take a little more careful time and not have our trashcans dumped on their sides. It damages the trashcans as well as our driveway that we spent $1600 to resurface.
