Flooding from the drainage creek that runs along Patterson (by Catalent). My home on Allen is 4 houses down from the creek. I've lived here since Aug 2013, and this has only been an issue since 2018/19. It's flooded to this extent 5 times in the last 3 years, never once in the 5 years prior. This timeframe roughly correlates with when infrastructure construction happened for Switchyard Park which is just a couple blocks away. When I've reported previously, I've simply been told "no blockage found." So I'm hoping for more feedback this time. I think the city needs to look into flooding mitigation in our neighborhood.

Drainage channel near 10th and Fairview is clogged with debris from recent flooding events. It needs to be dug out to allow water to drain and avoid breeding mosquitoes. Location is halfway between Fairview and the path connecting Butler Park to the B line.

This is my property. The culvert in the utility easement on the side of my house is flooded, causing my side yard, back yard, and garage to flood. The inlet pipe appears to be plugged. The culvert is full of road sand and vegetation, which may be the issue. There is a fence around the side yard, but there is an 11 foot gate to allow entry. On the south side of Winslow at the west side of Piccadilly there has been progressive erosion where the drain pipe goes under Piccadilly. Whenever we get a strong rain for five or ten minutes the ditch backs up on the east side of Piccadilly and does not flow freely under the road. The erosion mentioned has noticeably progressed this year and if left unabated the road will eventually be at risk of breaking at its edge. Also, be aware that the heavy rains flood the east side ditch and form a pool over the sidewalk which also spills out onto Winslow. We can see this from our home. In November the city engineering team came out and added a new side inlet to an existing drain that goes under Dunn street from the back of 2950 N Lakewood. However, the only erosion prevention put in place was some straw. With all the nearby honeysuckle/plant removal the recent storms have caused a lot of the nearby dirt (and straw) to move and now the drain is almost completely filled with dirt and debris that has entered in the last couple rain storms. I tried reaching out a few times (Kriste L and Phil P) this past winter but haven't seen anything put in to help hold the dirt in place until some plants/grasses grow in. The water flow is certainly much improved with the new inlet, but in my opinion the job is just not quite complete.

Across the street, there is a drain that sends water along the southern border of my property to Clear Creek. This drain has not been maintained and is partially blocked. The ditch that carries the water yo Clear Creek, is also full of sediment. Please call me. Thank you.
