This flows into the pipe in my yard that causes the drain to swirl . Causing the ground next to my house to be cut back . I need this fixed or I’ll report it to the mayor and city Attorney. Just put some rip rap in.
In the location of the pin above, I found where someone had dumped around a gallon of motor oil into the ditch. I used paper towels and toilet paper to clean up most of it, but a little remains. I figured you may want to look and didnt know whether you keep track of these things. Thank you.
I've been meaning to report for some time. During major rain events stormwater rushes into my basement in through the sanitary sewer drain. The last time was June 2021 and storm water poured in for 8-10 hours solid. Luckily I have installed a sump pump that kept the overall water level manageable. I've lived at this address for 10+ years and this problem has occurred 3-5 times total. It only happens when the storm water system is overwhelmed. I believe the same happens for my neighbors. Is there anything I can do to prevent more back flow during major rain events?
Hello. Last year there was a major rainstorm in Bloomington that managed to adversely affect the storm drainage between my house and the next door neighbor. The storm activity managed to wash out a small corner of soil on the other side of the fence. Now any time it rains and thereafter, the ground is fairly wet (puddles) and the corner with missing soil fills up. This water manages to linger for days from outside the fence and through the yard. I'm requesting someone from Stormwater to visit my home on 10 June 2022; any time of day is fine. I ask for this date because I'm off work and we can survey together. This has been an ongoing issue for some time and I'm seeking suitable remedy. I have additional photos to share, however, seeing this in person would be beneficial. Road construction has Queens Way blocked. Construction was on the website earlier but has been removed. Construction is definitely NOT COMPLETED. Please update website with construction and new completion date.
The street drain on the west side of the street is full of debris which inhibits drainage
This intersection drainage project has been weeks ongoing. Now we are left with an absolutely horrid street. The utility cuts were filled with gravel but have rutted out to be almost impassable. This is addition to the pot holes and drains that are unfinished.
Hello. I am currently renting a duplex unit at 1701 S Buffstone Ct. Per my landlord, the city is responsible for maintaining the ditches that line E Thornton Dr. There is a lot of debris in the ditches at the moment. When it rains a lot, the ditches fill up with water, and sometimes overflow. Can you please clean up debris from the ditches that line the cul-de-sac? With renting a property, I am not eligible to purchase flood insurance, and so I would greatly appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you!
