Storm drain casement junction is clogged with branches. You can see it through the heavy iron grid on the drain at the SW corner of Southdowns and Ballantine. It will require lifting the grid cover the clear out.
I manage Sherwood Green Home Owner's Association and we are having problems with one of our drains. It's not draining right and the street floods in a certain area. It's one of the drains on West Minster Way. If someone could please contact me about this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Dam blocked needs cleared
Storm water drain at the northwest corner of E. Arden and Williams Ct. needs to be repaird. A hole about 1 ft. long/6 in. wide has formed around the drain grate.
Intersection of W 3rd and S. Rogers. (On S. Rogers) Curb storm drain completely occluded.
At the intersection of Hillside and Eastgate, a storm drain is clogged.
Along 19th street, between Walnut and North Washington, on both sides of the road, five storm drains need to be cleaned off.
On Morton Street, between 6th and 7th Street, on the West side of the road, the storm inlet has sunk and there is a small void to the side of it.
I sent this problem in last week. The resolution was they've been clearing the storm drains but they were not going to pick up the debris and tell leaf pickup. This is going to cause the grass today as it does every fall. In Park Ridge as last year we put our leaves at eight weeks we waited for the leaves to be picked up. If these storm drains are going to have piles of leaves next to them for the next 8 weeks then this intersection is going to flood every single time we have rain. This is at the bottom of Three Hills. And the pile is going to get so large like it did last year 4 by 4 by 3 feet high. That the grass is going to die again. It seems reasonable to have the storm sewers cleared and the debris carried away every time we have a flooding event. If this is not resolved differently I will be contacting the mayor. The construction at 4th & Rogers(The old Auxiliary Police Building) They have broken through the storm pipe that runs under the back of the building. Thay say all they have to do is fill it with gravel and it will bo ok. This storm drain handles all the street drains in the area. Can they do this? It is part of the drain that flows into the Jordan River.
