I am hopeful this form is the correct place to submit this concern: On or before 2/21/2020 I noticed that my front-yard sewer plate thing is all ripped up and askew like I've never seen it before and it just don't seem right. three years ago when we had a water main break they tore up this section of my yard and it was under the street. It has never grown grass. Twice I have them come back and put more seed on it asked for soil (which never happened) only sees and straw. This spring I put on 10 bags of garden soil and grass seed. And it had just started to grow. When this rain came and washed it all away. I would like the city to put sod in. after 3 years and 2 to 3 inches of soil and sod still missing it seems to be the only solution!

Fire hydrant was recently replaced in front yard. Big hole was dug as part of the work. Was filled in (Friday?). Ground where dug now is several inches obviously below rest of ground level. Assuming settled with aid of rain. Needs leveled.

Area near the hydrant replacement remains significantly depressed. Is a trip/fall hazard. I was waiting to see if grass would sprout and what that effect would be, but exceptionally minimal grass has grown despite significant moisture and coverage. 4021 E. Morningside Drive

405 E 20th Street Bloomington IN: CBU repaired a water line at the rear of the property, removed a fence and did not repair or replace the fence. Reported to CBU Transmission & Distribution last week, not follow-up phone call. Olympus Properties (812) 334-8200

Our office received a call from an individual who reported an issue with a fire hydrant at the address listed. He says he tripped over it and believes it is not up to city code.

The issue is a fire hydrant on 4319 Cricket Knoll Dr. in Gentry Estates. While it doesn't really look like it sticks out that much from the sidewalk (you'll see by the attached photos) as there is a cutout. But if you're blind and your can sway your cane under it and you're moving over to avoid the tree branch, then you can actually not know it's there. The complainant has hit it with the side of his leg three times and has fallen to the sidewalk.

New water meters are being put in along Old State Road 37. There is a safety issue with the mess left behind. Workers have left large trash piles and large mounds of dirt behind where pedestrians walk. The gravel is settling and leaving dips in the grade.
