One of my constituents is wondering why there are not more 25 MPH speed limit signs on Grant St. between Grimes and Hillside. Are you still in process of putting these up? Also, there need to be more on Washington and Lincoln along the same stretch, she says.
A crosswalk with lights was put in on Henderson (near Brenda Lane & Templeton Elem School) some time ago, but the lights on the sign are too subtle for motorists to notice. At least once per week I have to put my arm out into the crosswalk to get a motorists attention to stop. The signs are around 10 feet off the ground--well above the eye level of motorists; and the lights on the vertices of the pentagonal sign are tiny and give off insufficient light. You need lights that are impossible to miss and at eye level. The city has lights just like this on Washington at E Smith Ave (beside the Allison-Jukebox Center). They are at eye level and you can see them from three blocks away.
I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? Corner of Dunn and 3rd street, need to place an additional "no turn on red sign" next to signal light. Many people turn right onto 3rd street from Dunn in front of on-coming traffic.

Can we extend the left turn arrow interval for west bound Patterson onto Rogers so more than three cars can make it through the intersection while Country Club is closed?
Just wanted to call attention to the traffic light at E 2nd and S. High Street. It seems that the South bound High St. Left Turn Arrow (to E. 2nd ) always turns green even with no cars over the sensor (or any cars at light South bound). One issue during morning school hours at Rogers Binford is that North Bound High St. traffic (at light) backs up to E. 1st street where there is a traffic officer supporting the children walking to school. We as a family travel North on High daily and any time of the day the South Bound High St. Left turn arrow always goes green with the South Bound light. Would it be possible to check to see if that intersection traffic light arrows are programed correctly? Thank you look forward to hearing back!
There is an unmarked meridian as you approach 3rd street going north on Clarizz. At night, it's difficult to see the concrete meridian because you are driving up hill. There needs to be a sign there, directing you to veer to the right.
