There are a lot of kids in the area that are playing in the street, but there are no signs indicating that they are out there. He said that there are many issues with people speeding down the road and his children have had close calls with vehicles. They are asking for kid or speed warning signs to be placed on this street to mitigate the traffic.

Just a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a crosswalk from Bloomington HS South from or around the faculty parking lot and or where the busses line up to a side walk. Currently, students are just crossing the street and it’s really unsafe.

I have been a teacher at the Project School for 3 years now and we are in desperate need of more clear signage that Smith Ave is a one way street going west, especially now that Chocolate Moose has started food truck fridays again. I'm guessing because of the bike lane and the stop sign going East it may confuse drivers, but I think we need paint on the road with arrows and more one way signage.

Good afternoon. I believe it is necessary to put up additional signs at the traffic circle on Jordan by Reed Hall. My understanding is that, at least in Indiana, the law is that vehicles entering a traffic circle are required to yield to traffic already in the circle. I have been nearly hit by several vehicles, including city buses, that do not even slow down when entering the circle, much less yield. I have also seen vehicles turning the wrong way out of Reed Hall when they want to go south on Jordan. If I'm mistaken, and this traffic circle is governed by some other rule, please, please let me know so that I can avoid being hit by a vehicle with the right of way, but otherwise, it's critical that additional signage is placed there to avoid the inevitable wreck.

There needs to be a pedistrian crossing at the corner of Union and 5th. It is often dangerous to cross there.

"There is one left turning lane, one lane to go straight, and one lane to turn right. The middle lane to continue straight should also have the option to turn left. Hardly anyone leaving the McDonalds, Cheddars, Pizza Hut, fire department, and the hotels are going straight. The light to leave our area is not long and I truly believe the flow will greatly improve with a dual straight and left hand turning lane."

Hello! I live just off of the intersection of 5th Street and Bryan Avenue, right next to the IU Raintree House. I've noticed that one of the stop signs at the four way stop is missing, the post and all. I've seen people driving right through without stopping, and then realized that the sign was completely gone. It is the stop sign on the north east side of the intersection. Just wanted to let somebody know. Thank you for your help!

Consider installing "Wrong Way" signs for cyclists on Third Street. As a bus operator, I can't tell you how many near-collisions I've had with cyclists popping out of nowhere going the wrong way on Third at night. Example sign here http://store.hallsigns.com/12-x-18-R5-1b-Bicycle-Wrong-Way_p_2957.html

Eastbound traffic is reported as often blowing through the stop sign - either not noticing it and/or unable to anticipate it, creating unsafe conditions at the intersection.
