Hello, my child is a student at Ivy Tech Bloomington and has classes in two Ivy Tech locations that are across the street from each other on Liberty Dr. The concern is that she (and many students who don't have cars) must cross Liberty Dr at very busy times during the day to reach her next class, changing buildings. Please ensure there is School signage and a stop sign on Liberty Drive across the 2 Ivy Tech buildings so that the pedestrians/students can safely cross Liberty Dr when attending classes. The addresses of the 2 buildings are 1907 Liberty Dr, Bloomington, IN 47403 and 2100 Liberty Dr, Bloomington, IN 47403. Thank you.

Please put a light at the intersection of rockport and country club. The amount of east-west traffic on country club is far superior to the north-south traffic on rockport and traffic is backed up 30-50 cars every morning and every evening.

At least half a dozen times since the new bike lanes were created on Third Street near Jordan Avenue, I have been driving westbound on Third Street, stopped at the light at Jordan, in the right lane, with my right turn signal on, only to have someone pass me on the right, driving in the bike lane (and sometimes proceeding to turn right on red at a "No turn on red" sign). I saw two cars in a row do this today. The lane markings seem clear enough to me, but a lot of people are evidently not understanding them. Can anything be done to make it clearer that that is not a drive lane?

Are mopeds and motorcycles allowed to use the 7th street tunnel under the bypass? Today, I saw two (orange scooter and a black-mini-motorcycle thing with a skull and crossbones on front, each coming from different directions) using the tunnel.

Is it possible to put a "no U-turn" sign with the left turn signal on northbound Walnut at the bypass intersection? Now that the eastbound bypass lanes have a green right turn arrow, I've seen several (and been involved in one) near misses of people in the left turn lane doing U-turns and nearly hitting those turning southbound onto Walnut with their green arrow. I'm not sure if the city or IU would be responsible for this request, but I'd like to suggest the placement of signs making it clear pedestrians should not walk on the west side of Union between the RR tracks and 10th St. There's a sidewalk on the east side of the street. Pedestrians walking through here make it very tough for the E bus to safely cross the tracks and get into the proper traffic lane at the intersection. (I'm a campus bus operator.) Of course, the signs would be best placed such that buses' mirrors won't clip them. Thanks.

There needs to be a pedestrian walk light in the walk way across 10th Street from Kelley to the library. As it currently stands, pedestrians block the flow of traffic for as much a 15 minutes--and I mean, literally, zero cars get through. Not only does this contribute to the already congested traffic on campus, it is a hazard to every pedestrian, as well as the cars. The traffic from this walkway often extends west to Indiana Ave. and 7th Street and east to Crosstown Shopping Center. Cars block the intersections and it creates hazards for everyone. Students haphazardly cross the road without looking or paying attention because the walkway basically gives them carte blanche to do so. It only takes one driver not paying attention for a very bad incident to occur. I know I am not the first person to complain about this and when an incident happens, everyone will look to the Street Division and wonder why no one has ever done anything to fix this situation. All it takes is some sort of flashing light at the walkway similar to a cross walk that periodically stops pedestrian traffic and allows traffic through. Thank you.

Hello, If you are not the correct contact, would you please forward this as appropriate? I am a faculty member at the School of Education. I walk to work daily and need to cross Third St. at Rose Ave. Is there any chance of having a crosswalk at this intersection? It is often very difficult to cross with the sometimes long lines of traffic coming from both directions. Finding a break in the traffic and competing with traffic turning onto Third from Rose is often very dangerous. Also, since I walk on Rose heading north from Hunter, I am forced to walk on the road until I reach Third St. What are the chances of having sidewalk installed on Rose south of Third? do not enter sign needs to be larger ? drivers u turn to go westbound on 3rd st. I have had 2 close head on hits while entering the turn lane to cross 3rd to muller pkwy. i have had one instance where the car behind me (while I was at the stop sign on muller waiting to turn right on 3rd) where the car behind me went around me on the left and made the u turn to go west on 3rd. I have seen several drivers cut thru there to get into the Swifty.
