Need to do something so that traffic westbound on 10th does not get stuck by a vehicle trying to turn left onto Pete Ellis.

This intersection needs a left turn only lane for cars turning off of 10th St. North onto Range Road. Sometimes cars in the lane for going straight swerve into the right lane to get around cars waiting to turn left even though visibility for this is poor and could confuse drivers turning right onto 10th St. from Pete Ellis. Just park in the post office parking lot and observe this intersection around 5 - 6 pm on a weekday and you can see for yourself. A left turn lane would greatly reduce accidents at this intersection.

I think there is no street sign on 3rd St for Johnson Dr. Also, why are there "No Outlet" signs on Johnson & Kimble? Usually these mean the same as "Dead End" - that you can only come out the street you went in. This is not the case. I was heading west, going to Valhalla. I thought I was at Johnson Ave, but did not see a street sign, and the "No Outlet" sign made me think it was not Johnson. Soon came Kimble, so we turned in there and were surprised to see a "No Outlet" sign there, too.

The intersection of 10th and N. Smith Road during peek traffic hours gets backed up for those coming from the south on N. Smith Road. Because of the long line of traffic, entrances to the Meadow Smith Apartments get blocked, and I'd imagine it makes things a bit more difficult for the gas station there as well. Has the city entertained the idea of making that a three way stop rather than only requiring traffic coming in from Smith Road to stop? The traffic levels seems to suggest a need for it. I could send in a photo next time I see a back up if you'd like.

Traffic headed south on Washington is no longer forced to stop. Street parking on the northwest corner of the intersection makes it dangerous for cross traffic to pull through the intersection on 6th. There are bound to be accidents.

Hello! I live just off of the intersection of 5th Street and Bryan Avenue, right next to the IU Raintree House. I've noticed that one of the stop signs at the four way stop is missing, the post and all. I've seen people driving right through without stopping, and then realized that the sign was completely gone. It is the stop sign on the north east side of the intersection. Just wanted to let somebody know. Thank you for your help!

Motorists speed down this section of road, often 20mph OVER the posted 25mph speed limit. Safety is a concern, for my child and for other pedestrians. A speed bump would fix this issue!

Can we get a No-"J"-brake sign going west on 3rd before the S.Clairizz light? I know this is State Rd. But the noise is a city/quality-of-life issue. Tx!

People absolutely FLY down our road (west 8th). Multiple family pets have been hit and kids are always trying to play outside but have to worry about cars not paying attention. Speed bumps need to be put in.

Greetings. We need moving violation enforcement and an increase in people who can do traffic law enforcement. Can someone in BPD as well as OOTM please read this article and consider how the City of Bloomington may work to make their streets actually safe and civil... Please take note of the quote about their goal. I think Bloomington needs to make the goal of public safety a top and most important priority! This is what the city of New Orleans is doing to help their police department with their staff shortages. 'They will have duties such as monitoring phone and online reports, issuing traffic citations, surveying major events like Mardi Gras and the Essence Festival and even doing some investigative work. Civilians would additionally be dispatched to calls that may not require an officer, such as collecting preliminary evidence, securing loose pets and responding to forgery, certain medical episodes and some thefts, New Orleans Police Superintendent Shaun Ferguson said last Thursday. 'The goal of all of this is to make our officers feel safe so that they can make our citizens and visitors feel safe,' Ferguson said. 'This is also to reduce some of the workload currently placed on our patrol and district personnel. But more importantly this is designed to reduce response time and address the backlogs in which we have in some of our districts.'"
