At the stoplight on E. Covenanter, close to the shopping complex with Kroger, there is a lack of painted street markings indicating where the left-turn lane is and where the street at the intersection is divided between traffic directions. I have often witnessed this resulting in confused drivers, who sometimes attempt driving straight across College Mall Road when they are actually in the left-turn lane. Proper street markings and arrows should be painted to make this less confusing and less dangerous for everyone.

The location is Maxwell La. & Sheridan Rd. (I don't know how 311 W. 8th st.came up on this form!)
I leave 834 Sheridan to go to High St.
via Maxwell about 4-5x/week for the past 7 years, and I've always thought
how helpful it would be to have a stop
sign on Maxwell to make a left turn there safer. Cars going east on Maxwell are not seen as I stop at
Sheridan until about 2-3 car lengths
distance because they are coming up a
hill. Many times, even though I've looked carefully, a car will come up behind me quite close after I've made my left turn, & often it's because I think the other car might be going a bit fast. A stop sign here could make the turn much safer. (This form needs a "reply requested" option. I would appreciate a reply!Thank you.)

Hi,
South High Streets traffic has much increased as it is the detour for Sare Road. It is also a road that many children walk on to get to Childs Elementary school in the mornings. Not only is the traffic heavier now, it seems faster. There are not many stop signs between Moore's Pike and the roundabout at Winslow and it seems to me that traffic is now just speeding through High, particularly in the mornings and wonder if something can be done.
Thank you,
Cynthia Ramlo

Please consider putting a traffic signal in at the pedestrian crosswalk near 10th and Fee on IU's campus. The continuous stream of students regularly causes traffic backups 20 minutes long. Today, I watched my bus take 15-20 minutes to traverse about a half mile just because there was no way to make the thousands of students crossing the street at that point pause. Only one cr can cross the crosswalk at a time, because it is a lucky breat when there is more than a 3 second break in the stream of pedestrians. Please address this so that it won't take me 45 minutes to drive two miles.

When traveling W. on Kirkwood and coming to the light at Adams, there are 2 left turn lanes but no good markings to guide cars to their respective lanes on Adams. We were almost hit by a car next to us that drifted into our lane as we turned. You need to put some nice wide solid white arcs to prevent an accident there.

There should not be multiple double yellow lines on any stretch of pavement. This is an accident waiting to happen. Please remove the north-most yellow lines and make it a white single line.

Our driveway is located on a small cul de sac on Kensington Park Drive. Our address is 3131 E. Kensington Park Drive. One neighbor in particular has a car parked almost permanently next to the cul de sac median and across from our driveway. This makes it very difficult - and dangerous in winter weather - to move cars in and out of our driveway and for others to navigate the cul de sac, not to mention the difficulty for garbage trucks and snow plow trucks. Can you make this a NO PARKING zone? Periodic attempts to stop this situation in a neighborly way have not been successful. Thank you for your consideration and attention to this

I travel eastbound 2nd street almost every day. Very often, cars stay in the lane to turn right onto Adams, but continue driving straight onto 2nd. This happens more frequently after snowfall. Perhaps lane markers or reflectors could help distinguish the different lanes.
